#5 Catherine Murdock Women's Basketball Roster

FRESHMAN Year (2019-20):

• 1-of-3 walk-ons added to the 2019-20 Irish
• First set of twins in program history, playing alongside her sister Catherine.
• Played in eight total games spanning just over 10 minutes of action.
• Scored her first and only collegiate basket against North Carolina on Feb. 27.
• Also recorded two assists, one block and five rebounds.

High School:

• Attended New Trier High School
• Lettered three years in basketball with the Trevians playing both at the point and shooting guard positions
• Senior year – the team went 24-6 on their way to a regional championship.
• Junior year – went 18-11
• Sophomore year – 26-5 with a regional championship
• Two-time CSL South All-Conference
• Team 22 All-Area First Team her senior year
• IBCA 4A All-State Honorable Mention her senior year
• 2018 Daily NorthShore.com Best off the Dribble
• 2018 team captain
• 2017 three-point shooting state finalist
• Averaged 10.9 ppg, 2.9 apg, 3.8 rpg and 2.0 spg her senior year. Also shot 44.5 percent from the field and 36.3 percent from three.
• Four-year honor roll recipient
• 2018 Illinois State Scholar

• Her uncle, Dennis Carroll, played basketball and tennis at Notre Dame
• Her aunt, Sheila Carroll, played volleyball at DePaul and her other aunt, Noreen, played volleyball at Syracuse
• Majoring in Mathematics
• Played on the Notre Dame Club Basketball squad her freshman year – Nationals qualifier and MVP of the Regionals tournament in 2019
