AS A JUNIOR (2013): BIG EAST Academic All-Star … named to the BIG EAST Championship All-Tournament team … played every inning (386.1) of the season at shortstop … batted .268 with six doubles, three home runs, 18 RBI and 13 runs scored in 58 starts … raised batting average 36 points (.304) during 22 BIG EAST regular season games, adding four doubles, eight RBI and four runs scored … went 3-for-3 with two RBI in second game of the weekend against Wisconsin (Feb. 10) … roped first double of the season and scored a run later in the day against Presbyterian (Feb. 10) … chipped in a base hit and scored two runs against Boston College (March 2) … contributed a two-run single in Notre Dame[apos]s second contest of the day at the Diamond 9 Citrus Classic against Georgia Tech (March 2) … reached base in two of three plate appearances against LIU Brooklyn (March 3) … registered an RBI and a run scored in first game of the series against Iona (March 15) … clubbed a pair of singles in the nightcap of a doubleheader at Georgetown (April 3) … hit a double in both games of a twin bill at Melissa Cook Stadium against Villanova (April 6) … went 2-for-3 with three RBI in series finale against Rutgers (April 14) … 2-for-3 with first home run of the season at Pittsburgh (April 21) … set a career-high by driving in four runs in the first game of a midweek doubleheader against Connecticut (April 23) … crushed a solo home run into the bleachers in left field at Melissa Cook Stadium in a win over Eastern Michigan (April 30) … contributed a pair of singles in the series finale against No. 9 Louisville (May 5) to help Notre Dame clinch the BIG EAST regular-season championship … blasted the first home run of the BIG EAST Championship out of the USF Softball Stadium, and finished a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored in a first round win over Seton Hall (May 9) … 2-for-4 with a pair of singles against South Florida (May 11) in Notre Dame[apos]s final BIG EAST Championship Game appearance.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2012): All-BIG EAST second team selection … named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star … .321 batting average, 35 hits (10 for extra bases) and 15 RBI in 56 starts (all at shortstop) … tied Jenna Simon for team lead in triples with two … third on the Irish in batting average (.348) during BIG EAST play … was the only Notre Dame player to log a triple during the conference slate … went 2-for-3 with a run scored at North Carolina (Feb. 25) … laced a three-run triple to right center field to spark a four-run second inning in a win over LIU Brooklyn (March 3) … ripped a pair of singles in the second game of a BIG EAST doubleheader against Connecticut (March 31) … 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored against Valparaiso (April 18) … reached base in all three plate appearances and scored one run against Michigan State (April 24) … enjoyed best offensive series of the season at Pittsburgh (May 5-6), going a combined 6-for-10 (.600) at the plate with three RBI against the Panthers … drove in two runs against North Dakota State (May 19) and Arizona (May 20) during NCAA Regional play.

AS A FRESHMAN (2011): Stepped in to play shortstop and second base throughout her first campaign with the Irish … hit .231 with 13 at-bats in 13 games … reached base at a .231 rate … scored three runs with three hits while driving in two scores … had a season-high four putouts to start the season on Feb. 18 against Miami (Ohio) … drove in one run against Marist (Feb. 27) … came in to pinch hit against Providence (April 3) and produced a hit while scoring once … doubled home a run and later scored against St. John[apos]s (April 30).

PREP AND PERSONAL: Four-time varsity letterwinner at St. Petersburg Catholic (Fla.) under tutelage of coach Tom Fabian … positioned at shortstop and pitcher … had more than 50 wins in her career, including 20-win, 240-strikeout seasons in 2008 and 2009 … honored as an ESPN Rise-Top Ten Player to Watch … listed among the decorated athletes in the adidas Top 100 prep players ranking … led team to four straight conference championships … team captain her senior year … named all-conference, all-city and all-state throughout her entire prep career … three-time team MVP … led team in home runs in each of her four seasons at St. Petersburg … in addition, led county in home runs for three straight seasons (2008-2010) … had an astounding .557 batting average in her junior season … member of the Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society, SADD and student government … named an All-American Scholar during her junior year … daughter of Lara and Jerry Saganowich … graduated with a degree in sociology from the College of Arts and Letters.
