AS A SENIOR: Went 1-1 in fall singles action, and 0-1 in doubles, with all competition coming at the Tom Fallon Invitational … singles win came in form of 6-4, 6-4 straight-set win over Marquette’s David Packowitz … named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star.

AS A JUNIOR: Saw limited action in third season with the Irish, finishing with a record of 2-1 in singles and 2-3 in doubles … all matches took place during the fall tour schedule … went 1-1 at the Tribe Invitational, posting a win over the host Tribe’s John Banks, 6-4, 6-0 … the win marked his first singles victory as a member of the Irish … later registered a win over Valparaiso’s Carlton Lyons at the Purdue Invitational, 6-0, 6-1 … in doubles, played four matches with Bryan Kelly, with the duo putting together a 2-2 ledger … team recorded victories over Morehead State’s Hugo Almonte and Chris Shafik (8-1) as well as Arkansas’ Michael Nott and Taj Harrison (8-6) at the Purdue Invitational to earn a spot in the consolation bracket semifinals … victory over Almonte and Shafik marked first doubles win as a member of the Irish.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Saw no action as a sophomore due to injury.

AS A FRESHMAN: Saw limited action for the Irish during his freshman campaign, posting an 0-2 record in singles play and 0-1 mark in doubles action during the open portion of the schedule.

HIGH SCHOOL & PERSONAL DATA: Two-year letter winner at Lake Travis (Texas) … ranked as high as #32 in the nation during his high school career … active in the Writing Club, the Austin Rotary Club and the Alta Ridge Tennis Club during high school … son of David and Avis Brodess … born in New York, N.Y. … graduated from the Mendoza College of Business with a degree in economics.
