AS A JUNIOR (2025-26)

  • Laced up for all 37 games for the Irish.
  • Registered a team leading and personal best 37 points on 17 goals and 17 assists
  • Both goals and assists increased by six compared to the previous season.
  • Recorded six powerplay goals; second on the team and a career best.
  • Tallied one game winning goal.
  • Blocked nine shots on the season.
  • Big Ten Third Star of the Week (Feb. 10).
  • Big Ten Third Star of the Week (March 10).
  • Recorded a career high in four point games with three (Oct. 16 1-3-4 // Feb. 6 3-1-4 // Mar. 5 2-2-4).
  • Tallied seven multi-point games over the season.
  • Registered a six game-long point streak (Jan. 23 – Feb. 7; 6-6-12).

PRIOR TO NOTRE DAME

  • Spent the previous season at Michigan, competing in 33 games and registering 22 points (11-11-22).
  • Was twice named a Big Ten Star of the Week as a sophomore.
  • Started his collegiate career at Colorado College (NCHC).
  • Registered 19 points off six goals and 13 assists in 37 games played as a rookie.

PREP & PERSONAL

  • Played parts of two seasons with the Omaha Lancers (USHL) where he was named an alternate captain during the 2021-22 season.
  • Made his USHL debut with the Lincoln Stars in 2019-20 before moving to the New Jersey Junior Titans (NAHL) for the 2020-21 season where he appeared in 40 games and tallied 36 points (21-15-15).
  • Was named to the NAHL All-Rookie First Team and All-East Division Rookie Team in 2020-21.
  • Finished his junior hockey career with the Tri-City Storm (USHL) where he registered 31 points in 37 games played (16-15-31).
  • Competed AAA hockey with Little Caesars where he won a U15 National Championship in 2018-19.
  • Son of Ryan and Liane Werner.
  • His uncle played collegiate hockey at Lake Superior State University.
  • Plans to study strategic management at Notre Dame.
