AS A SENIOR: Provided composure in the midfield for the Irish as a tri-captain in 2015 … played in 12 games, starting 12, but missed eight games with concussion symptoms … scored second career goal — and first since 2012 — against Valparaiso (8/21/15) … scored the unassisted game-winner against Santa Clara (8/28/15) in the 81st minute … earned a monogram.

AS A JUNIOR: Appeared in 22 matches and started 19, totaling 1,487 minutes … tallied 23 shots — averaging 1.05 shots per game — and 10 shots on goal as a midfielder… played 68 minutes against No. 2 Florida State in the ACC Championship Final … registered 86 minutes against Valparaiso in the first round of the NCAA Championship … saw a full 90 minutes against Texas in the second round of the NCAA Championship … played 78 minutes against No. 5 Texas A&M in the third round of the NCAA Championship … earned a monogram.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in 19 matches, including nine starts … credited with seven shots (one on goal) … had season-high two shots in NCAA Championship opener against Iowa (4-1) … also logged single shots against Detroit (4-0; shot on goal), Syracuse (1-0), #11 Wake Forest (1-1), at #3 Florida State (1-2, 2OT) and in NCAA third-round match at #11 Michigan (0-1) … played season-high 91 minutes in weather-delayed double-overtime draw against Wake Forest … started all three of ND’s NCAA postseason contests … turned in complete-match effort in NCAA second-round win over Western Michigan (1-0) … was starter for good portion of spring 2014 season, including full 90-minute outings in international friendlies against Haiti National Team (2-0) and Mexico Under-20 National Team (2-0) … earned a monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN: Appeared in 21 matches, starting 17 times … ranked third among Irish freshmen with 1,457 minutes played, including four complete-match outings … started first 10 contests of her college career … collected first point on assist in home opener against East Carolina (5-0) … scored first career goal (and what proved to be the match-winner) in 58th minute against Pittsburgh (2-1); also had season-high three shots … tied season best with three shots in double-overtime draw vs. Rutgers (2-2) … went all 105 minutes in 1-0 win at DePaul in regular-season finale, clinching piece of BIG EAST National Division title … started both BIG EAST Championship matches vs. Syracuse (1-0) and #15 Marquette (0-1), as well as NCAA Championship opener vs. Milwaukee (3-1) … came off bench in NCAA contests against #10 Wake Forest (2-1) and at #7 Florida State (0-1) … earned a monogram.

ODP/CLUB HIGHLIGHTS: One of top players in class of 2012 for Sting Dallas club program under the direction of head coach Kenny Medina … program was ranked No. 3 in nation in December 2011 article by Soccer America, and has produced several recent Notre Dame standouts, including 2010 Honda Sports Award recipient/two-time All-America forward Melissa Henderson (currently playing for NWSL’s Houston Dash), All-America midfielder Courtney Barg and two-time all-region defender Jessica Schuveiller (integral members of Notre Dame’s 2010 national championship team) … led Sting Dallas to consecutive USYS National Championships at U-15 and U-16 levels (2010 and 2011) … named to 2011 USYS National Championship Best 11 Team … guided squad to 2010 ECNL U-15 National Championship … club also won numerous tournaments during her tenure, including four North Texas State Cups (2008-11), two Surf Cups (2006, 2008), the 2009 Disney Soccer Showcase and the 2008 Celtic Cup and Real Colorado Showcase … participated in February 2011 ECNL/id2 National Camp … named to all-event team at 2009 and 2010 Disney Showcase … chosen as tournament MVP for 2008 Celtic Cup … ranked 15th in 2012 Top Drawer Soccer club soccer player ratings (five-star ranking; No. 3 in Texas region) and 32nd in 2012 ESPNHS 150 … technical director for her club program (Sting Dallas) was the legendary Tatu, the longtime Brazilian soccer standout who had his greatest success indoors with the Dallas Sidekicks from 1984-2003 (also coached the franchise from 1998-2004), ranking second all-time in numerous categories, including goals scored (857).

PREP & PERSONAL: Graduated from Lake Highlands High School in Dallas, Texas, where she played for head coach Misty Benson … earned all-district honors in 2009 and 2010 …named district’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2010 … full name is Gloria Kristin Williams … daughter of LaDonna and C.L. Williams … middle of five children … sister, Hayley, was a four-year starter on women’s soccer team at Rice University from 2010-13 (earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors in 2010) … family also has cared for approximately 25 foster children since 2001. … one of five Texans on this year’s Fighting Irish roster, along with seniors Jennifer Jasper (Fort Worth) and Taylor Schneider (Southlake), sophomore Kaleigh Olmsted (The Woodlands) and freshman Katie Uhler (San Antonio) … enrolled in Notre Dame’s College of Arts and Letters, pursuing a major in design.
