JUNIOR SEASON (2026)

• Started in all 15 of his appearances of the 2026 season
• Recorded 87.2 innings pitched with a 3.29 ERA
• Tallied 116 strikeouts by the season’s end
• Posted a single-game high of 12 strikeouts in a 6-2 win over Stanford (May 1)
• Logged three or more strikeouts in 14 of his 15 appearances of the season
• Registered five 10+ strikeout performances on the year
• Added five additional outings with at least eight strikeouts in 2026
• Had nine inning complete game shutout in a 6-0 win over Clemson (Mar. 20)
• Added a seven inning complete game win in a 12-2 decision against Boston College (Apr. 24)
• Set single-season career-highs for innings pitched (87.2), appearances and starts (15), ERA (3.29), complete games (2), strikeouts (116) and wins (8)
• Finished the 2026 season in the top 50 among NCAA Division I pitchers in complete games (15th), WHIP (17th), strikeouts (19th), strikeout-to-walk ratio (25th), strikeouts per nine innings (41st) and victories (48th)

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2025)

• Recorded 70.1 innings pitched with 13 starts and 60 strikeouts on the season
• Posted a 3.58 ERA and a 7-4 record on the mound for the Irish
• In his first start of the season against North Florida, posted 4.0 innings with no runs and four strikeouts for the win (Feb. 14)
• In a 2-1 win over Iowa, only allowed one run in 5.0 innings with five strikeouts (Feb. 21)
• Recorded 7.0 innings of work with five strikeouts and only two earned runs in the start against Virginia Tech (Apr. 4)
• Against Boston College, pitched 6.1 innings, struck out one batter, and did not allow any earned runs (Apr. 11)
• Earned the win after going 7.0 innings against California, struck out a career-high 12 batters while only giving up one run (Apr. 25)
• Struck out five batters in five innings of work against Bowling Green (May 9)
• Struck out at least one batter in every game he appeared in and struck out at least four in 10 out of 13 appearances
• Had 10 games where he pitched 5.0 or more innings
• Went a season-long 7.1 innings in a 3-2 win over Miami, with six strikeouts and one run allowed (May 15)
• Kept batters to a .198 average when runners were on base
• Held batters to a .177 batting average with two outs 
• Averaged 7.68 strikeouts per game

FRESHMAN SEASON (2024)

• Made 10 starts and 14 appearances in 53.0 innings of work
• Tallied 39 strikeouts and a 4.58 ERA 
• Made debut in 13-10 win over Rice with 1.1 innings of work (February 18)
• Picked up first win on the mound after going 3.0 innings in relief, striking out two and allowing just one hit in a 3-1 final at FIU (February 25)
• Struck out four over 3.0 innings and did not surrender a run while allowing one hit and earned the win at Radford (March 12)
• Did not allow an extra-base hit in back-to-back outings against Miami (March 23) and NC State (March 29)
• Struck out a season-high and career-best six batters against North Carolina (April 13)
• Earned back-to-back wins as the starting pitcher for the Irish in victories against Boston College (April 20) and Wake Forest (April 27)
• Scattered three hits and went a season-long 5.1 innings with five strikeouts in a win against Wake Forest (April 27)
• Struck out at least one batter in each outing of 2.0+ innings during the year

PREP AND PERSONAL

• Lettered in Varsity baseball and basketball
• Two-time All-State selection
• Two-time All-Conference selection in baseball and an All-Conference selection in basketball
• Played in the 2017 Little League World Series
• Son to Angela and Chad Radel
• Has a brother, Gus, who was a pitcher at the University of Minnesota
