• Named to the Pro Football Focus College Team of the Week after two sacks and a forced fumble in win over No. 14 Michigan
• After four sacks, forced a fumble and added two QB hurries in win over No. 7 Stanford, named Walter Camp Defensive Player of the Week, Bronco Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week and Reese’s Senior Bowl Senior of the Week
• Team-best eight sacks and three forced fumbles with 30 total tackles (10.5 for loss) and five QB hurries

JUNIOR SEASON (2017)

• Saw action in and started all 13 games
• Helped a Notre Dame defense that improved by at least 20 spots in the FBS rankings in third down conversion percentage, interceptions, rushing defense, scoring defense, passing efficiency defense, sacks, tackles for loss and turnovers gained
• Irish were the last team in the FBS to surrender more than 20 points in a game (Irish allowed 20 points or less over each of their first eight games)
• Notre Dame allowed only four plays of 40 yards or longer in 2017—the second-fewest of any team in the FBS
• The Irish allowed only one play of 50 yards or longer in 2017—the second-fewest of any team in the FBS
• Registered 56 tackles, 25 solo stops, 9.0 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, 11 quarterback hurries and one forced fumble
• Led the team in quarterback hurries and sacks
• Third on the team, and tops among defensive lineman, with 9.0 TFLs
• Sixth on the team and tops among all defensive linemen in tackles
• Registered a season-high seven tackles, including four solo stops, and one sack at Boston College (Sept. 16)

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2016)

• Played on the defensive line in all 12 games and started 11
• Did not start at USC (Nov. 26)
• Recorded 37 tackles, including 17 solo stops
• Added five quarterback hurries and 3.0 TFLs
• Third among all defensive linemen in tackles with 37
• Made a season-high nine tackles, including five solo stops, and one TFL at NC State (Oct. 8)
• Registered five tackles, including four solo stops, and two TFLs against Michigan State (Sept. 17)
• Recorded at least one tackle in all but two games

FRESHMAN SEASON (2015)

• Played on the defensive line in all 12 regular-season games and started three contests (Georgia Tech, Navy and Stanford)
• Did not play in the BattleFrog Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State (Jan. 1)
• Sixth among all defensive linemen in tackles with 12
• Added two TFLs and one sack
• Recorded a sack against Texas (Sept. 5) in his collegiate debut
• Made a season-high four tackles, all solo stops, with a TFL at Clemson (Oct. 3)
• Collected three tackles against Georgia Tech (Sept. 19), two against Boston College (Nov. 28), and one each against Texas, Navy (Oct. 10) and at Stanford (Nov. 28)

• Named to USA Today American Family Insurance All-USA Louisiana Football Team as offensive lineman

• Rated 157th player in nation and seventh among offensive tackles on 247Sports Top 247 list, 275th on PrepStar Top 300 list, and 280th overall and 30th offensive tackle on ESPN 300 list

• Named to CBS MaxPreps All-America second team
• Rated 225th player nationally on Tom Lemming’s Top 300 list
• Ranked as No. 3 player on New Orleans Times-Picayune Nifty 50 squad
• Named Louisiana District 1-3A defensive MVP and Shreveport Times All-City Defensive Player of the Year for 2014
• Made 93 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and seven sacks as senior in 2014 for Evangel Christian High School in Shreveport, Louisiana.
• Helped Evangel Christian to 8-5 record in 2014
• Played in U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio
• Competed in two triathlons last summer
• Enrolled at Notre Dame and began taking classes in January and participated in 2015 spring drills with the Irish
