AS A SENIOR:
- Finished the season with a 38-18 record through five contests
- Opened season at the Elite Invitational with a record of 5-4
- Posted a 9-2 record at the NYU Invitational
- Concluded the regular-season with a 13-2 run at the Northwestern Duals
- Wrapped the ACC Championships with a 6-2 record
AS A JUNIOR:
- Registered the most successful campaign of his Irish career, garnering Second Team All-American honors after finishing in fifth place at the NCAA Championships while helping the Irish to their ninth national championship
- Went 15-8 with a +22 indicator during pool play at NCAAs
- Finished in fourth place at the NCAA Midwest Championships to qualify for NCAA competition
- Finished as the runner-up at the ACC Championships, falling to champion Pascual Di Tella (Duke) 15-6, but earning All-ACC recognition for the third straight season
- Went 57-30 during dual meets, bringing his career record to 157-62
- Set the Notre Dame single-season wins record for men’s sabre (57)
- Finished the season ranking tied for eighth in ND history in career sabre wins
- Finished the dual season with a 27-10 record over his final three meets (12-1 DeCicco Duals; 17-8 Northwestern Invitational; 8-1 ACC Team Championships)
- Helped the Irish to their third straight ACC title
- Named to the All-ACC Academic Team
- Named team men’s sabre MVP
- Honored as team Dan Mulligan Award winner for men’s sabre, presented to the sabreur “ “who best represents his/her team and University on and off the strip.”

AS A SOPHOMORE:
- Followed impressive freshman campaign with an even more noteworthy sophomore effort, highlighted by capturing the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Sabre title
- Named the Co-ACC Men’s Sabreur of the Year
- Went 6-2 during ACC team competition to help the Irish claim their second straight conference title
- Named a Third Team All-American for the second year in a row, finish in 12th place at the NCAA Championships
- Placed fourth at the NCAA Midwest Regional
- Went 55-12 during regular-season dual competition
- Opened the season with a 10-4 record at the Penn Elite Invitational
- Went 8-0 on the first day of the DeCicco Duals
- Turned in an 18-4 record at the Northwestern Duals
- Wrapped the regular-season with a 13-2 mark at the Duke Duals

AS A FRESHMAN:
- Finished runner-up in ACC Men’s Sabre competition, won the ACC Men’s Team title and finished 12th at NCAA Championship, good for honorable mention All-American honors
- Began the year with 9-4 mark at Ohio State Elite Cup, followed by a 9-6 showing in the St. John’s Invitational and a 6-3 mark in NYU Invite
- Etched 12-6 mark at Northwestern Duals, followed by 1-0 mark in DeCicco Duals and 8-1 record at ACC Championship
- In ACC Championship, finished with 12-3 record in individual competition, losing to teammate Jonathan Fitzgerald in the title bout
- Finished second at NCAA Midwest Regional, sporting an 11-2 record
- At NCAA Championship, finished with 13-10 record
- Named ACC Fencer of the Week on Jan. 28, 2015

PREP AND PERSONAL:
- Coached by former Olympian Archil Lortkipanidze growing up
- As a sophomore won bronze at Salt Lake City Junior Olympics (Junior level)
- As a junior, was a member of U.S. cadet national team
- Placed 10th at World Championships in Porec, Croatia
- Earned silver medal at Cadet World Cup in Hungary
- Placed fifth at Cadet World Cup in Moscow, Russia
- Finished third both at Division I North American Cup (NAC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and at Junior NAC in Louisville, Kentucky
- As a senior, won silver at Junior Summer Nationals in Columbus, Ohio, placing third at Division I Summer Nationals event in same location
- Graduated from Rye in June of 2014
- Named to United States Fencing Association (USFA) All-Academic team and made school’s honor roll throughout prep career
- Born in Stamford, Connecticut but now calls Rye, New York his hometown …
