AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in 35 of Notre Dame’s 38 games … scored six goals with four assists for 10 points … had three power-play goals on the season … tied for fifth on the team with 69 shots on goal … had six penalties for 12 minutes … got the season off to a fast start scoring the first goal of the year for the Irish just 7:05 into the first period of the season opener, a 2-2 tie versus Minnesota-Duluth … second goal of the season came in the third game of the year, a second-period power-play goal at Miami to tie the game at 2-2 in an eventual 4-2 loss … held off the scoresheet for eight games before recording points in back-to-back games at Alaska Fairbanks on Nov. 26-27 … assisted on a Tony Gill goal in 3-2 win versus the Nanooks in game one of weekend series … followed with a goal with the goaltender pulled in the final minute of a 3-2 loss to UAF the following night … turned in a career-best four-game point streak from Dec. 10-Jan. 2 versus Michigan State and Rensselaer … teamed with Cory McLean to set up Wes O’Neill’s game-tying, power-play goal with 1:19 left in the game on Dec. 10 … Matt Amado would score game winner in overtime for 3-2 Irish victory … scored Notre Dame’s lone goal just 42 seconds into the game on the power play for his fourth of the year in a 4-1 loss at Michigan State the following night … made it two games in a row with a goal when he scored the lone goal in a 3-1 loss to Rensselaer on Jan. 1 … helped set up Tim Wallace’s game winner the following night at 9:09 of the third period in 2-1 win over the Engineers … would score just two more points over the remaining 16 games … had sixth goal of the year in 3-1 loss to Ohio State on Jan. 15 and assisted on a Noah Babin power-play tally on Feb. 12 in 4-2 loss to Ferris State.

AS A FRESHMAN: Saw action in 38 of Notre Dame’s 39 games in 2003-04 … was second among freshmen in scoring with seven goals and seven assists for 14 points … had two power-play goals and one game winner … penalized 10 times for 20 minutes … fired 49 shots on goal for a .143 shooting percentage… was -1 on the season … scored first collegiate goal on Oct. 18 at Bowling Green … goal at 2:37 of the first period gave the Irish a 2-0 lead on the way to a 3-0 shutout of the Falcons … picked up assists versus Lake Superior and Northern Michigan before finding the back of the net on Dec. 5 at Western Michigan … third-period goal cut Western lead to 7-5 in eventual 8-6 loss for the Irish … picked up first multiple-point game (1g, 1a) in 5-4 overtime loss at Bowling Green on Jan. 9 … second-period goal gave Irish a 2-0 lead … later helped set up Jason Paige goal that gave Notre Dame a 4-3 lead … made it two goals in a row the following night as his goal in the first period gave the Irish a 2-0 lead in David Brown’s second 3-0 shutout of Bowling Green … picked up just one assist over next six games before scoring his first career power-play goal in a 5-2 loss at Miami (Feb. 6) … scored the insurance goal in a 4-2 win over Ferris State on Feb. 13 … goal was part of a three-game point-scoring streak (1g, 2a) between Feb. 13-Feb. 27 … final goal of the season came in game one of the first round of the CCHA playoffs on Mar. 12 versus Western Michigan … unassisted, power-play goal at 1:13 of the third period proved to be the game winner … goal was his only point in five postseason games.

WITH USA HOCKEY: Spent two seasons in the United States National Team Developmental Program … with the Under-18 team in 2002-03 was fourth in scoring with 12 goals and 19 assists for 31 points … had four power-play goals and four game winners while also picking up 22 minutes in penalties … played in the Top Prospects tournament … with the Under-17 team in 2001-02, helped Team USA win the gold medal at the Under-17 World Challenge … scored the game-winning goal in the semifinal victory over Team Ontario, beating current Irish goaltender David Brown … for the season, had 22 goals and 27 assists for 49 points … among his goals were seven power-play markers, a short-handed goal and four game winners.
