• Wore the No. 25 jersey at West Virginia (9/18) and led the team in receiving with a career-high six receptions for 58 yards

• Former walk-on earned a scholarship after playing in 11 games with five starts 
• Finished the season with nine receptions for 121 yards with one TD
• Caught an 11-yard TD pass in his first collegiate game at Boston College (8/31), registering four catches for a season-high 62 yards 
• Tallied two catches apiece vs. ODU (9/7) and Furman (9/14)

2018

• Did not see game action and redshirted.

High School

• Earned all-district honors twice and was an all-region selection as a defensive back in his high school career 
• Did not play his senior year due to an injury
• Scored seven touchdowns and caught 22 passes for 208 yards to go along with 117 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and three interceptions as a junior
• Played for head coach Bryan Davis at Patrick Henry High School and transferred to Louisa County High School for his senior season

• Son of James and Kimberly Smith
• Mother played basketball at the University of Richmond
• Father was a standout safety at Richmond (1988-90) and was selected in the 11th round of the 1991 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers 
• Majored in curriculum & instruction.
