AS A JUNIOR: Competed with the first and second varsity fours during junior season … opened the spring with a pair of runner-up results with the first varsity four at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational … member of the first varsity four in a victorious effort against No. RV Michigan State (7:19.09) at the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual … rowed to first four victory with a time of 7:49.40 on Friday night at the Dale England Cup … placed third in the grand final of the second varsity four (7:32.00) at the ACC Championship.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Did not compete during sophomore season.
AS A FRESHMAN: Competed with the first novice eight crew in her first year with the Irish … at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, finished second against Kansas with a time of 7:21.974 before falling behind the A and B boats from defending NCAA champion Virginia by .5 and .3 seconds, respectively … crossed the finish line first against Virginia and Kansas in the third race of the weekend, finishing in 7:15.20 … in the final race, out-stroked Louisville and Miami to pull ahead by 1.453 seconds … competed in the B-team first novice eight boat at Michigan State that finished third in the first race … jumped in the second novice eight boat and finished second behind the host Spartan crew in the second race … stayed with the second novice eight boat at the Ohio State Invitational and finished second behind Michigan … in the second race, came in third behind Michigan and Ohio State with a time of 8:07.01 … stayed with the first novice eight A-team at the fifth annual Dale England Cup … in first race crossed ahead of Alabama and the B-team in 7:13.3 … also won second race with a 7:21.7 clip … placed second behind host Indiana in final race with an 8:09.8 mark … crewed with the third varsity eight boat at the BIG EAST Championship and won the grand final race with a time of 7:18.864.
PREP AND PERSONAL: Graduated from Visitation Academy in spring of 2012 … participated on the varsity swim and tennis teams … was also active with the Parkway Swim Club for 11 years … on the tennis team, posted undefeated seasons as both a junior and senior and won the Missouri Class 1 State Championship both years … as a senior on the swim team, qualified in the 200 medley relay and 100 breast stroke for the state meet … placed first in the 200 medley relay and 100 breast stroke at the MWAA meet and was 11th in the medley relay event at the state meet … team placed 10th overall in state competition and she tied the school record in the 100 breaststroke event … as a junior in the pool qualified for the state meet in the 200 medley relay and the 200 freestyle relay … was editor of the high school newspaper and treasurer of the National Honor Society … was named an AP scholar, and a national merit commended scholar … was born in St. Louis, Mo. … daughter of Mark and Marybeth Lumetta … has two brothers and one sister … enrolled in the College of Science as a biological sciences major.
