AS A SENIOR (2011): Earned all-BIG EAST second team honors in senior season for the Irish … started 56 games at shortstop, batting .277 with six doubles, two triples, six home runs, 20 RBI, 16 stolen bases and 37 runs scored in the heart of the lineup … finished career ranked second on the all-time Notre Dame list in walks drawn (99), third in runs (163), seventh in stolen bases (46), ninth in field assists (337) and 13th in home runs (20) … went a perfect 3-for-3 with a double, a RBI and a stolen base against Louisiana-Lafayette (March 17) … smashed first home run of the season and chipped in three RBI against Washington (March 18) … blasted a first inning grand slam to lead Notre Dame to a game one shutout of Providence (April 2) … tallied a total of three hits, two doubles and a home run, and scored five runs in a BIG EAST doubleheader at Syracuse (April 10) … ripped a double and drove in three runs against Loyola-Chicago (April 13) at Melissa Cook Stadium … closed season with a hit in 12 of the final 14 games, raising batting average from .218 to .277 in that span … went a combined 5-for-8 (.625) and scored five times in a weekend conference series against St. John[apos]s (April 30-May 1) … reached base in three of four plate appearances, clubbing a home run with three RBI and three runs scored in game one of a doubleheader at Connecticut (May 7) … capped NCAA Ann Arbor Regional play with a 3-for-4 outing at No. 2 Michigan (May 21), contributing a double and two runs to the Irish offense.
AS A JUNIOR (2010): Capped off an incredible third season with the Irish by earning All-American honors from the NFCA, the first true-shortstop in program history to cop the honor … first team NFCA all-region … first team all-BIG EAST … finished first among BIG EAST players with .460 batting average in league play, while ranking second with a .561 on-base pct. and eight doubles … set school[apos]s single-season record with 54 runs scored … her .571 slugging pct. ranks 21st on the all-time chart … drew 32 walks, good for third all-time … sixth all-time with a .472 on-base pct. … ranked 35th nationally with .950 runs/game, and 22nd with four sacrifice flies … posted a .945 fielding pct. with 163 chances while having a hand in four double plays … led the Irish in the season-opener by tying career highs with three runs and three hits against Creighton (Feb. 12) … also stole one base against the Bluejays … had two hits and scored twice at the Southern Miss Mizuno Classic (Feb. 20-21) … posted three consecutive two-hit games at the Cavalier Invite … 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, two doubles and a home run against Virginia (Feb. 27) … homered in back-to-back games after a 1-for-2 day against Ohio State (March 6), scoring three times and driving in two scores … two hits against Purdue (March 14) … two RBI and two runs at Western Michigan (March 18) … walked three times against Eastern Michigan (March 23) and stole three bases against Toledo (March 24) … 3-for-4 with two RBI in the series finale at Seton Hall (March 28) … went 6-for-11 with five runs, four RBI and one double during the three games with the Pirates … extending hitting streak to eight games with one hit in both ends of a home doubleheader with Rutgers (April 1-3) including a double, sacrifice fly and sacrifice bunt … drew three walks in the series with USF (April 10-11) … drove in a run with a sacrifice fly against the Bulls in the series finale, one of two sac flies for the Irish in the 2-0 win … tripled and doubled during a three-game series at Louisville (April 17-18) … 2-for-4 with two doubles and scored twice in the first of two games at DePaul (April 22) … four RBI during an April 24 twinbill with Villanova … rode an 11-game hitting streak from April 14-24 … scored at least twice in six of 11 games from April 21-May 13 … reached base five times at St. John[apos]s (May 9), going 3-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and two walks … recorded her second hit and second run of the game against Providence (May 13) at the BIG EAST Tournament in the second inning to capture the Notre Dame single-season record with 53 taps on home plate.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2009): Started 57 games with 58 total appearances for the Irish … five games with at least two RBI … nine contests with two hits and a pair of contests with three hits … enjoyed a six-game hitting streak from March 22-28 … hit .240 with 41 hits … seven doubles … 21 RBI and 86 total bases … slugged at a .386 rate … had back-to-back two-hit contests at the Bama Bash to start the season … went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a home run against East Carolina (Feb. 14) and posted two hits versus No. 1 Alabama later that day … scored twice against Sacramento State (Feb. 20), then duplicated the feat against the Hornets two days later … assisted on a game-ending triple play against UC Santa Barbara (March 8), the first in school history … 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored including a home run against Pacific (March 13), while helping the Irish overcome an early 3-0 deficit to post a 7-3 victory … two hits and a solo home run against St. John[apos]s (March 22) … 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI and a home run at Georgetown (March 28) … recorded three hits with a double and home run versus Northern Illinois (April 1) … was one of three Irish players to homer in the fourth inning against the Huskies … two hits and two runs scored versus Seton Hall (April 5) … three hits with a double against Valparaiso (April 9) … drove in a run with two hits against Rutgers (April 19) … drove in two runs at Providence (April 30) … notched a pair of RBI against Cleveland State (May 15) in the opening game of the NCAA Tournament … season-high six assists came against DePaul (April 8) … did not commit an error over a 25-game span from April 4-May 8 … member of Notre Dame[apos]s Rosenthal Leadership Academy.
AS A FRESHMAN (2008): Showed signs of maturity from day one in an Irish uniform … one of two Irish freshmen – joining Brianna Jorgensborg – to earn all-BIG EAST honors, taking a spot on the third team … tied for league-high marks with 17 runs scored and two triples … also had a hand in six double plays at shortstop … the first hit of her career came in the opener against Utah (Feb. 15), a fourth-inning double to center that plated a run … went 1-for-3 against Western Kentucky (Feb. 16) and scored once … she was also hit by a pitch against the Hilltoppers, and would eventually come around to give Notre Dame a 3-1 lead on Christine Lux[apos]s sacrifice fly … spoiled Amanda Scarborough[apos]s no-hitter when Notre Dame faced Texas A&M (Feb. 16) with her sixth-inning single to left … drew a walk, laid down a sacrifice, and scored the game-winning run against California (Feb. 17) in the bottom of the seventh on Katie Laing[apos]s double … finished 2-for-3 with a run scored against Gardner-Webb (Feb. 22) to start off the Aquafina Invitational … drove in the deciding game-winning run against North Florida (Feb. 22) when she dropped a two-out single down the leftfield line to score Ashley Ellis from second base in the top of the fifth … scored a run and put down a sacrifice bunt against Florida (Feb. 24) … snapped a three-game hitting skid with a sneaky bunt past a charging Pacific (March 1) infield … she would score the first of her two runs in that game when Katie Laing drove in the speedster with a double down the rightfield line … had one hit and one sacrifice against UC Davis (March 1) … scored twice and registered two hits against UC Riverside (March 4) … singled with a sacrifice versus UCLA (March 7) … began a five-game hitting streak with a single against Virginia Tech (March 8) … notched the game-winning RBI-single in the sixth inning against CS Fullerton (March 8) by driving a change-up into rightfield … stroked her second double of the season against CS Northridge (March 9) … also showed some silky leather work against the Matadors with four putouts as the Irish defense held CS Northridge scoreless over the final six innings of the game … drew one walk, roped one hit, and scored once against Towson (March 14) … fired in a 2-for-3 effort against Charleston Southern (March 14) that included three RBI and three runs scored … both of those hits came in a 10-run third inning … also swiped one base in that game … was walked twice in a March 15 meeting with Campbell … drove in one run with a double while adding a sacrifice against Towson (March 15) … filled the box score with two hits in three at-bats against Charleston Southern (March 15), chipping in two RBI and one run with a stolen base … drew one walk, stole a base, and scored during an 8-0 win over IUPUI (March 26) in the home opener … scored once at DePaul (March 30) in Notre Dame[apos]s 2-0 win over the Blue Demons … also chalked a hit, stole one base, and drew a walk in that game with DePaul … went 4-for-7 with two RBI and four runs scored during a doubleheader at Seton Hall (April 5) … plated a pair of runs on two hits against Rutgers (April 14) … in fact, her home run in game two with the Scarlet Knights was the first of her career and the first set out of Melissa Cook Stadium by an Irish batter … she also scored the first run in stadium history one day earlier against Villanova (April 13) … homered against Wisconsin (April 16) and filled the stat line with two hits in two at-bats, added two runs and drove in two more … she was also walked twice and had two assists in that game … her two-run homer in the fourth inning against the Badgers was the third dinger in the frame to set a new school record and helped Notre Dame overcome a 5-0 deficit to post an 11-5 win … in game two at South Florida (April 20), laced a double and scored once while adding an RBI … had multi-hit efforts at Purdue (April 22) and against Providence (April 26) … also stole a career-high two bags against the Boilermakers … sparked an 12-game hitting streak versus Loyola-Chicago (April 24) that lasted into the NCAA Tournament … had three hits and scored three runs for the Irish and fell just a double short of fulfilling the cycle in the opening contest of NCAA Regional action against Kent State (May 16) … singled, tripled and recorded her fourth home run of the season … she was also joined in the home run department by Christine Lux and Linda Kohan, with each of the three home runs coming in the game[apos]s third inning … it was the second time in school history the Irish hit three home runs in the same inning – a feat last accomplished exactly one month prior against Wisconsin (April 16) by the same trio … recorded at least four putouts on three occasions that season and assisted five times in four games … third on team with a .295 batting average … tied for team lead with 10 stolen bases … led Irish with 44 runs scored … boasted a .463 slugging percentage, .415 on-base percentage, 52 hits, 31 RBI, seven doubles, three triples and 77 total bases … played and started in each of Notre Dame[apos]s 61 contests.
PREP AND PERSONAL:Played four seasons of high school ball at Archbishop Mitty (Calif.) … led Archbishop Mitty to the Western Catholic League (WCAL) championships in each of her four seasons, posting a combined record of 73-19 … spent her summers playing for the Sorcerer 18U Gold squad … banged out a .425 average with four homers, five triples, nine doubles and 40 RBI … also a standout field hockey player … guided high school field hockey squad to the WCAL title in 2006 and 2007 … daughter of Dani and Tim Fleury … graduated from the Mendoza College of Business with a degree in marketing.
