AS A SENIOR: Opened the fall season as a member of the seventh place Notre Dame entry with a time of 19:22.544 in the women[apos]s championship four at the Head of the Charles regatta … rowed in the stroke seat of the Irish second varsity eight during senior campaign … won first race at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational in 6:37.700 before finishing second behind ACC foe Virginia in 6:42.513 … came back to win final race against fellow ACC member Duke in 6:48.700 to close the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite … finished behind West Coast foes Southern California, Stanford, and California at the Lake Natoma Invitational … fell behind eventual NCAA team champion Ohio State in the first race of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge (6:32.06) … pulled in ahead of Indiana and Alabama in the first two races of the Dale England Cup … closed the weekend with a win over Rhode Island, pulling in with a 6:37.80 clip to help Notre Dame to its second straight Dale England Cup team championship … the second eight finished first in the second preliminary heat at the ACC Championship with a 6:50.00 readout … came in third place in the ACC grand final race with a time of 6:44.70 … rowed to a third place finish (6:39.603) in the preliminary heat of the NCAA Championship … claimed the top spot in the repechage heat two with a 6:36.450 finish … finished the season with a third place finish in the petite final, crossing the finish line in 7:06.847 to give the Irish second varsity eight a ninth place result overall at the NCAA Championship.
AS A JUNIOR: Competed in multiple boats for the Irish … at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, placed second in two races with the second varsity four crew before moving to the second varsity eight B-team for her final race, finishing fourth with a time of 7:21.61 … moved into the first varsity four boat at Michigan State, first besting Iowa and then host team Michigan State with marks of 8:03.20 and 8:14.80, respectively … crew was named BIG EAST Boat of the Week (April 3) in recognition of performance in East Lansing … stayed with the first varsity four crew for the Ohio State Invitational, placing second in both races … finished second in first varsity four boat at the Lake Natoma Invitational, falling to west coast foes USC, California, and Washington State … came in first against Alabama at the fifth annual Dale England Cup with a time of 7:46.9 before finishing ahead of the Irish B-team and Iowa in the second race of the first varsity four boat … in final race of the weekend, bested host Indiana by 10.6 seconds with a 9:14.0 mark … the Notre Dame first four won the grand final race at the BIG EAST Championship with a time of 7:47.563 … placed second in preliminary heat at the NCAA Championship behind Washington with an 8:07.379 clip … in the A/B semifinal race, finished in fifth place, seven seconds ahead of Michigan … in the petite final race to determine places seven through twelve, the Irish four boat finished third (ninth place overall) with a time of 7:21.193 … earned a monogram.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Rowed for multiple Irish boats this season … earned second monogram … rowed in three races for the first varsity four boat at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite, finishing in first over Alabama and Jacksonville in the first race (7:33.40), while placing second to Minnesota (7:27.48) and Tennessee (7:22.33) later at the meet …competed in the first varsity four race at Ohio State (7:49.13) … got the victory in the next race over Indiana and Louisville (7:35.22) … saw action in the third varsity eight[apos]s victory over San Diego (7:04.80) at the Virginia Invite … also defeated Clemson (7:04.00) and finished second against Virginia (6:58.80)… raced in both the qualifier for the third varsity eight (7:14.00), and the second/third varsity four, claiming victory in the finals of the BIG EAST Invite (8:02.30) … continued the success at the BIG EAST Championship as the third varsity eight boat took home the qualifier (6:55.967) and final victory with a time of 7:04.391 over Connecticut, Syracuse and Louisville.
AS A FRESHMAN: Member of varsity four boat named BIG EAST Crew of the Week April 21 … rowed with the varsity four boat during the spring season … finished in second place behind Buffalo in the first race of the spring clocking in at 7:02.04 … notched first victory of the spring with a first place finish in Indianapolis against Indiana, Purdue, Eastern Michigan, and a second Notre Dame boat after posting a time of 7:56.0 … placed second in the Lake Natoma Invitational Group ‘B’ finale against Wisconsin and Tennessee while finishing the race with a time of 7:23.13 … qualified for the finale by placing second and first in two qualifying heats against California and Oregon State, and Stanford and Sacramento State, respectively … won the BIG EAST Championship in the varsity four with a time of 7:31.36 … got her ticket punched to the finals by placing first in the preliminary round with a time of 7:50.91 … placed second behind Virginia in the Oak Ridge Regional grand final with a finishing time of 7:22.52 … guided the novice eight Notre Dame ‘A’ boat to a first-place finish in the Head of the Rock Regatta in a blazing time of 16:51.16 … also part of the Notre Dame ‘D’ boat in the varsity eight that finished 11th (17:04.87) … raced in the varsity eight race as a member of the Notre Dame ‘3’ boat that clocked in at 14:49.8 for fifth place vs. Tulsa.
PREP AND PERSONAL: Two-sport athlete at Academy of the Holy Names … led her team to a state title and national ranking senior year … scholastic champion three years in a row … helped Tampa Rowing Club to a national ranking and title … participated in Junior Women[apos]s National Team Sculling Camps … played on the junior varsity volleyball team as a freshman and sophomore as an outside hitter … a member of the National Honor Society … born in Tampa, Fla. … daughter of Eric and Candace DeHaven … one sibling, Sasha … enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters, double majoring in political science and Spanish.
