One of the best to don an Irish soccer uniform, Korbin Albert left Notre Dame after two seasons to sign a pro contract with Paris Saint-Germain. Going from the Notre Dame brand to one of the largest and most popular football clubs in Europe, Albert has trailblazed a new path for Irish collegiate players. For the 2022 season, Albert was named a Mac Hermann Trophy Finalist, First Team All-American and the ACC Midfielder of the Year.

- Cracked the starting lineup in game one and never looked back, starting in 21 of 22 games played, racking up over 1,488 minutes.
- Scored eight goals over the final 11 games, including four in the last four.
- Totaled three braces on the year – Detroit Mercy (9/9), Louisville (10/7) and SIUE (11/14)
- Also achieved two game-winning goals – one against Louisville (10/7) and the other in the NCAA First Round vs. SIUE (11/14)
- Secured a spot in the ND record book in the win over Louisville – scoring in the first 37 seconds, which marked the fifth fastest goal in program history
- Recorded a ‘golazo’ at No 2 Virginia from over 30 yards out.
- Also scored Notre Dame’s first goal in the NCAA third round at Arkansas in an absolute screamer of goal from outside the 18-yard box.
