HIGH SCHOOL:
- Won four varsity letters in rowing at Mount Saint Joseph Academy.
- Rowed in the two seat of the varsity eight as a team captain in 2013-14.
- Helped lead the crew to race victories at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, the Frostbite Regatta and the Bill Braxton Regatta.
- Added a runner-up finish at Scholastic Rowing Association of America (SRAA) Nationals and the USRowing Mid-Atlantic qualifier.
- Rowed exclusively in the four seat of the varsity eight as a junior in 2012-13.
- Crew earned a top finish at the Shoebie Cup Regatta, and claimed runner-up honors at the Navy Day Regatta, Kings Head Regatta and USRowing Mid-Atlantic qualifier.
- Took part in the 2012 Head of the Charles Regatta.
- Split time between the JV eight and varsity eight as a sophomore in 2011-12.
- Varsity eight crew won five race titles during fall season, while JV eight added two first place results during the spring of 2012.
- Team Rookie of the Year as a member of the freshman eight for Mount Saint Joseph Academy.
- Earned one letter in field hockey.
- Member of the National Honor Society and Latin Honor Society.
- Served as president of the Mount Saint Joseph Academy Athletic Association during senior year.
- Volunteer at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
PERSONAL:
- Former Notre Dame men’s basketball player Steve Vasturia and women’s golfer Allison Snakard hail from the same area.
- Daughter of Stephen and Eileen Matchett.
- Has one brother, Stephen and a sister, Katherine.
- Enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business with a major in accountancy.
