HIGH SCHOOL:

  • Varsity letterwinner in track (two letters) and cross country (one letter) at Lake Zurich High School.
  • Selected as a North Suburban Conference all-academic team member.
  • Also played volleyball for two seasons, and competed with the Adversity Volleyball Club on the travel circuit.
  • Black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and has trained as an Olympic distance triathlete.
  • Served as president of the Lake Zurich High School chapter of the National Honor Society, and received the NHS Leadership Award.
  • National Merit Finalist and National AP Scholar.
  • Works closely with the Gary Sinise Foundation, aiding severely wounded United States military veterans.
