AS A SENIOR (2023-24)
- Averaged a near double-double with 14.4 ppg and 8.7 rpg. Made 34 starts
- OLE MISS (3/25): Was Notre Dame’s leading scorer in the Round of 32 (20 points)
- In the ACC Tournament, averaged 15.7 points, 6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Was named to the All-ACC Tournament First Team
- at CONNECTICUT (1/27): Scored 23 points, including two dagger 3s that sealed the win for Notre Dame
- BOSTON COLLEGE (1/11): Posted 15 points and 15 rebounds, becoming the only Irish player to do that in the last 4 seasons. Westbeld has done it twice.
- Entered the season with just nine career double-doubles. Added 12 additional double-doubles this season.
AS A JUNIOR (2022-23)

- Started 33 of 33 games, averaging 27.5 minutes, 11.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game
- 1.2 blocks per game led the team, and 38 total blocks was a career high and ranked eighth in the ACC. The 38 mark was also the 10th-best rebounding performance from a junior in ND history
- Leads current ND roster with 1,061 points in blue and gold. She was the 42nd player to reach the mark in an Irish uniform. Maddy and her sister, Kat, are the only sister pair to reach 1,000 points each in Irish history
- Lead Notre Dame in scoring in eight games and rebounding in nine games, and she has lead the Irish 24 and 25 times in those categories in her career, respectively. Both of those marks lead active ND players.
- Lead ND in assists in a game seven times, having previous not achieved the mark once as a freshman or sophomore
- Made a career-high 31 shots from deep, including three performances with three treys (UConn, Western Michigan, at NC State)
- Grabbed a career-high 218 rebounds. Her 6.6. rebounds/game ranked eighth in the ACC
- Four double-doubles tied for 11th in the league
- Westbeld’s best game of the season came against Wake Forest (1/12/23). She had 25 points (tied a career-high) in just under 25 minutes of play and went 10-for-15 from the floor with 8 rebounds, 4 assists and a pair of steals
- Westbeld started off the NCAA Tournament where she left off in 2022, notching 20 points against Southern Utah. Two days later, she grabbed 15 rebounds against Mississippi State, which is tied for third all-time for Irish in the NCAA Tourney
AS A SOPHOMORE (2021-22)

- Picked up right where she left off from her Rookie of the Year campaign – averaging 11.8 ppg which ranked 4th on team.
- March Maddy – 5 straight games scoring double-digit points. Averaged 7.8 rebounds and 15.2 points in the month of March.
- Averaged 15.0 points and 7.3 rebounds during the NCAA Tournament. Maddy shot 60.6 percent, which ranked as the 4th best of all players in the Big Dance who played in multiple games.
- Near identical performances in the second round and Sweet 16 –> 13 points, 9 rebounds, 6-of-10 shooting at Oklahoma; then 13 points, 8 rebounds, 6-of-12 shooting against NC State in Bridgeport.
- Speaking of her performance in Bridgeport vs NC State, Maddy had to play the five and defend All-American Elissa Cunane after Dodson got into foul trouble. The result, one of her best defensive performances of the year. Westbeld tied her career high of 3 steals.
- In her NCAA Tournament debut, Maddy led the team in scoring with 19 points in the win over UMass. She shot 8-for-11 from the field.
- 2nd double-double of the season in big road win over No. 16 Georgia Tech on Feb. 17, recording 10 points, 10 rebounds.
- Scored a 20-piece on her 20th birthday with a 21-point performance vs Miami on Feb. 10. Maddy converted a career best 4 made three’s.
- Went 2-for-2 from three at FSU on Feb. 6. It marked her first game with a trey since Dec. 19 and her second multiple three-pointer game of the season. Maddy finished with 12 points and 6 rebounds.
- Pivotal 7-point, 7-rebound game in win over No. 3 NC State on Feb. 1.
- Scored 9 of her 11 points in the 2nd half in the ranked win over No. 21 UNC on Jan. 16.
- 7-of-10 shooting against a game DePaul team on the road on Dec. 22, earning a season high 22 points. Converted 3 critical free throws in the final 30 seconds in the game. Ultimately hit a career best 8 made free throws.
- 15-point, 18-rebound double-double in game two win over Western Illinois. The 18 rebounds were not only a career high, but also tied the Purcell Pavilion single-game rebounding record. The all-time record is 22 set by Jane Politiski vs Goshen on 2/13/78.
AS A FRESHMAN (2020-21)
- WBCA All-America Regional Finalist // ACC Rookie of the Year // First Team All-ACC // ACC All-Freshman Team // Two-Time ACC Rookie of the Week (Dec. 7 + Jan. 3) // ACC Newcomer Watch List
- At the time, was the second ND player to win Rookie of the Year in the ACC – sixth overall – joined ND greats Brianna Turner, Jewell Loyd, Jacqueline Batteast, Alicia Ratay and Beth Morgan.
- One of three ND freshmen all-time to earn WBCA All-America Regional Finalist honors, joining Turner & Diggins.
- ACC Freshmen Rankings: first in scoring, second in rebounding, second in steals, fourth in assists & fourth in blocks. She was the only freshman in the league to rank in the top-four in all the above-mentioned categories.
- Westbeld was the only freshman in the country who averaged at least 15 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists & 1.4 steals. Overall, she was just one of eight DI players.
- Ranked fourth in the country among freshmen in the Points+Rebounds+Assists/Game category with 25.5.
- Her 15.2 ppg led all ACC rookies and ranked 10th overall in the league. Nationally, her scoring average ranked 11th among all Division I freshmen.
- Among freshmen in ND history, her scoring average ranked third behind Shari Matvey (17.6 in 1979-80) and Beth Morgan (17.9 in 1993-94). Her 7.9 rpg tied Brianna Turner for fourth for freshmen at ND.
- After returning from the team’s COVID pause – two double-doubles, 67 points and 38 rebounds over four games. Included two 20-point performances. Nearly averaged a double-double with 16.8 ppg and 9.5 rpg.
- Three double-doubles on the year (missed five additional double-doubles by just one rebound)
- Ranked in the top 15 in the ACC in six different statistical categories: 10th in scoring (15.2), 10th in rebounding (7.9), sixth in FG% (.469), 10th in FT% (.786), seventh in D-Reb (5.9) & 14th in steals (1.4).
- Led the team in 3PT FG% with her 38.8 percent.
- The three-point shooting quartet of Mabrey, Westbeld, Brunelle and Walker were the primary reason the Irish went from 15th in the ACC in 2020 in 3PT FG% (.271) to fourth this past season (.352) – and 41st in the country.
- Nearly perfect from the field in her last game vs Clemson (3/4), going 10-for-11 to record 21 points.
- Super freshman delivered again in win over Wake (1/14), scoring a career-high 25 points on 9-of-17 shooting. Nearly a double-double with 9 boards.
- 4th Quarter Will: Scored 12 of her 21 points in the 4th vs. Georgia Tech (12/13). Scored 12 of her 22 in 4th vs. IUPUI (12/6).
- Named ACC Rookie of the Week on Jan. 3 after helping the Irish to back-to-back wins over Miami and Georgia Tech. Westbeld averaged 13 points, 6 boards and 2 assists. Named ACC Rookie of the Week on Dec. 7 – She averaged 20.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals against No. 24 Michigan and IUPUI.
- In the win vs IUPUI (12/6), Maddy led the Irish in points, rebounds and assists – the last time an Irish player achieved that – Jackie Young vs Syracuse on March 9, 2019.

- She led her team in scoring (18.0) rebounds (11.2), assists (3.6), steals (2.8) and blocked shots (2.3).
- In November of the 2019-20 season, Westbeld recorded 36 points, 12 rebounds, eight steals and four assists against the nation’s No. 2 team in Tennessee’s Hamilton Heights Academy

- Averaged 15.9 points and 10.4 rebounds as a junior. Ultimately, Westbeld led her squad in scoring, rebounds, assists, assist/turnover ratio, blocks and free-throw percentage

- Averaged 11.3 points and 11.1 boards as a sophomore
- Toppled her sister’s (Kat Westbeld) rebounding record for a single game with 28
- Set the Journey to the Tourney scoring record with 34 points (now held by Irish guard KK Bransford, who posted 40 points in 2022)
- Earned her degree in finance with a minor in poverty studies in 2024
