Played at Notre Dame in 2008 and 2009.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2009):Played in seven matches and earned three starts … saw action in 15 sets … totaled 17 kills and 10 blocks for 23.5 points.

AS A FRESHMAN (2008): Played in seven sets and six matches … first action of the season came at Georgetown (Sept. 28) where she notched a kill on her only swing of the match … twice served during a home meeting with West Virginia (Oct. 11) … had two kills in a three-set showdown during her homecoming match at DePaul (Oct. 16) … played in a pair of sets in a home match versus Marquette (Nov. 2) … delivered one kill and one assist at Rutgers (Nov. 9) … also took a season-high four swings against the Scarlet Knights … had three swings against Xavier (Nov. 28).

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: The latest product from the Chicago-area based club team Sports Performance … ranked 48th among the annual Senior Aces list produced by PrepVolleyball.com … member of Volleyball Magazine[apos]s ‘Fab 50’ … led club team to the JVDA national title to cap off a perfect 84-0 season … JVDA All-America choice … part of a St. Francis (Ill.) prep squad that finished second in Illinois[apos] 2007 Class AAA state tournament to complete the season with a 38-4 record … St. Francis notched the Class AA state crown in 2006 after a 42-2 campaign … heading into that championship year, the team was the sixth-ranked team in the PrepVolleyball.com preseason poll, which came on the heels of a 37-2 mark and a No. 14 national ranking in 2005 … in four years with the Spartans, had a hand in compiling an overall record of 149-17 (.898) … won a national championship at the 2007 Junior Olympics and captured that same title as a 16-year-old … daughter of Tom and Dede Barnicle … has one sister (Erin) and one brother (Tom).
