AS A JUNIOR: Played in 31 of Notre Dame’s 36 games … scored two goals and added five assists for seven points … whistled off for 14 penalties and 39 minutes … recorded 35 shots on goal and was -3 on the year … got his season off to a fast start assisting on goals by Erik Condra and Mark Van Guilder in Notre Dame’s 2-0 win over Princeton on Oct. 29 … picked up first goal of the year on Nov. 5 in 4-2 loss at Michigan … scored in second consecutive game with an assist in 9-4 win over Bowling Green on Nov. 10 … went 17 games without a point before assisting on a Mike Walsh goal in 4-1 win over Ferris State on Feb. 10 … snapped a 22-game goal less streak with his second goal of the year on Feb. 24, staking Irish to a 1-0 lead in a 4-1 win over Alaska Fairbanks … added an assist on Tom Sawatske’s goal in 2-1 loss to Nanooks in regular-season finale … did not score in either game of playoff series against Alaska Fairbanks.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in all 38 games for the Irish, scoring a pair of goals with six assists for eight points … both goals came on the power play … took 27 shots on goal during the season … called for 22 penalties that resulted in 52 minutes to tie for fourth on the team … after going scoreless in first six games of the season, picked up assists in 1-1 tie and 4-1 loss to Northern Michigan at home … scored first goal of the season on Dec. 3 at Michigan on the power play in a 6-3 loss to the Wolverines … assisted on a Josh Sciba power-play goal in 4-1 loss to Michigan State on Dec. 11 to start three-game assist streak … added an assist in 2-1 loss to Rensselaer on Jan. 1 and then helped set up Tim Wallace’s game-winning goal on Jan. 2 in 2-1 win over the Engineers … after going seven games without a point, picked up a goal and an assist in weekend home-and-home series with Bowling Green … second-period power-play goal was lone Irish goal in 4-1 loss on Jan. 28 at BG … assisted on a Mark Van Guilder power-play goal the following night at Notre Dame in a 6-2 loss to the Falcons … went the final 10 games of the season without picking up a point.

AS A FRESHMAN: Played in all 39 games for the Irish … right-handed shot who played most of the year at left wing … had six goals and six assists for 12 points … notched one power-play goal and one game winner … had 54 shots on goal for a .111 shooting percentage … called for 12 minor penalties resulting in 24 minutes … was -12 on the season … was ranked 211th by NHL Central Scouting prior to the 2004 Entry Draft … scored first collegiate goal on Oct. 17 versus Bowling Green … stuffed a Wes O’Neill rebound past BG’s Jordan Sigalet for first Irish goal of the game in a 5-3 loss … assisted on a goal in 4-2 home win versus Nebraska-Omaha and then scored first goal (and game winner) in 2-0 David Brown shutout of the Mavericks on Oct. 31 … had just two assists in next six games before exploding for a four-point weekend at Western Michigan … had first multiple-assist game, setting up Matt Amado and Aaron Gill goals in wild 8-6 shootout loss with the Broncos … followed with his first two-goal game (with a ppg) in 6-4 loss to Western … went 15 games without a point until scoring an insurance goal in 4-1 win over Ferris State (Feb. 14) … final goal of the season was a game-tying score in 2-1 win over Lake Superior (March 6) that locked up home ice in the first round of the CCHA playoffs … was scoreless in five postseason games.

WITH USA HOCKEY: Spent two seasons with USA Hockey’s National Team Developmental Program … highly skilled player with strong leadership skills … spent most of 2002-03 on the Under-18 team with the duty of shutting down the opposition’s top scorer … in 58 games had seven goals and 13 assists for 20 points … had a strong performance at the Under-18 World Championships in April of 2003 … member of the Under-17 team that won gold medal at the 2002 World Under-17 Challenge … was fifth on that team in scoring with 15 goals and 14 assists for 29 points.
