• Appeared in 22 games for the Irish.
• Registered his first collegiate point, an assist, against Minnesota (Feb. 13).
• Blocked three shots on the year.
• Won 44 face-offs from the dot.

AS A FRESHMAN (2024-25)

• Made his collegiate debut against Minnesota (Nov. 23).
• Appeared in one game for the Irish as a freshman.

BEFORE NOTRE DAME

• Spent the 2023-24 season with the New Mexico Ice Wolves of the USHL, appearing in 58 contests and tallying 51 points behind 21 goals and 30 assists.
• His 51 points ranked fourth on the team while his 21 goals was second overall.
• Played one season in the OJHL with the Lindsay Muskies.

PREP & PERSONAL

• Native of Traverse City, Michigan
• Son of Lisa and Tom Schermerhorn
• Has two siblings – older sister Samantha and twin sister Sara
• Father Tom played football at Army West Point
• Attended Traverse City West and graduated in 2022
• Also played football, soccer and ran track in high school
• Was inducted into the Traverse City West hall of fame and was an all-state honoree in football
• Plans to study chemical engineering at Notre Dame
