Wingate saved her best season for last, earning both First Team All-ACC and Third Team All-America honors. She wowed the Irish faithful up top, mixing her unmatched speed with skill, pouring in a career-best 14 goals for the 2022 season. She also finished with a career-best 33 points. At season’s end, Wingate was drafted No. 6 overall in the NWSL Draft by the North Carolina Courage.

- Finished with the third most goals on the team with seven and third most points with 19. Tied for the second most assists with five
- Recorded a .640 shot accuracy, which led the ACC and ranked 17th in the nation
- Produced a fantastic NCAA Tournament, scoring a goal each in both the second and third rounds, versus Purdue and Arkansas, respectively.
- Ultimately scored the game-winner against Purdue, earned a brace at Miami, scored at No. 7 North Carolina, hit the equalizer in the NCAA second round vs. Purdue and then scored two days later against top-10 ranked Arkansas
AS A JUNIOR (2020)
- Played in 11 games and made nine starts this past season.
- Finished the season with one goal and two points over 697 minutes played.
- Scored a goal in the 6-0 road win over Miami, the most goals in an ACC game since the Irish joined the league in 2013.
- Season high 81 minutes played came in the 1-0 road win over No. 13 Louisville.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2019)
- Played in all 21 games and made 13 starts in her second season with the Irish.
- Tallied two goals, one assist and five points over 1,108 minutes played.
- Her first goal of the season came in the 4-0 home win over St. John’s.
- She scored one of the biggest goals of the season in the 86th minute in the 1-1 2OT tie to No. 9 Duke on the road.
- Career-high 102 minutes played came in the 3-2 2OT win over Wake Forest to clinch a spot in the ACC Championship.
AS A FRESHMAN (2018)
- Appeared in all 18 games and made seven starts during her first season with the Irish.
- One of six freshmen to start and one of three to score a goal in their first collegiate season.
- Scored her first career goal on the road against Butler.
- Earned her first start the following game and scored the equalizer in Notre Dame’s 2-1 comeback win over Cincinnati.
PREP AND PERSONAL
- Competed with the United States Under-18 Women’s National Team as well as the U.S. Under-16 Girls National Team.
- Wingate participated in several U.S. soccer international training camps and tournaments in England (2017), Netherlands (2016) and the Tournament of Gradisca, Italy (2016).
- Played two seasons at Wilmington High School, where she was NSCAA All-New England and NSCAA All-State after scoring 17 goals as a junior.
- Was a four-time Honor Roll selection and a member of the Medical Careers Club.
