AS A JUNIOR (2017-18):

•    Ended the season with a career day at the Ohio State Winter Invite, placing first in both the 500 freestyle and 1650 freestyle while also posting her fastest times ever in the 100 freestyle (:52.25), 200 freestyle (1:52.42), 500 freestyle (4:50.89), and 1650 freestyle (16:33.04).
•    Finished fourth in the 1000 freestyle (10:22.15) in the dual meet with Georgia Tech.
•    Came in second in the 1000 freestyle (10:21.56) against Ball State and Green Bay.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17):

•    Had a strong second season with the Irish, earning the chance to compete in the 2017 ACC Championships.
•    Opened the season with a second-place finish in the 1000 freestyle (10:25.36) against Indiana State and Oakland.
•    Placed third in the 1000 freestyle against Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech (10:08.17).
•    Finished third in the 1000 freestyle (10:11.75) at the dual meet with Louisville.
•    Had a great meet against IUPUI and Indiana State, placing first in the 500 freestyle (5:00.43) and second in the 1000 freestyle (10:19.79).
•    At the ACC Championships, posted her top times of the season in the 200 freestyle (1:53.55), 500 freestyle (4:57.29), and 1650 freestyle (16:51.23).

AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16):

•    Specialized in freestyle and butterfly events.
•    Started off strong by contributing to a first-place finish in the 800 freestyle relay (1:59.60 split) at Dennis Stark Relays.
•    Also swam to fifth place with 200 freestyle relay (:25.31 split) and eighth in 400 IM relay (1:03.27 split).
•    In first solo appearance for the Irish, placed fifth in the 1000 freestyle (10:32.55) and sixth in 500 freestyle (5:08.08) against Florida Gulf Coast, helping 400 freestyle relay finish sixth (:55.18 split).
•    Against Michigan State, clocked in at 10:38.52 in 1000 freestyle, 2:10.37 in 200 butterfly and split :24.73 on 200 freestyle relay.
•    At Purdue the following day, came in 11th in both 1000 freestyle (10:37.93) and 200 butterfly (2:10.38).
•    At Virginia Tech, finished sixth on 800 freestyle relay (1:56.76 split) and ninth in 500 freestyle (5:11.51).
•    Swam in six events at Purdue Invitational and qualified for ‘D’ finals in two events and ‘C’ finals in one event.
•    Highest finish came with ninth place 800 freestyle relay (1:54.66 split), but also swam on 400 freestyle relay (:53.47 split) team that finished 20th.
•    Individually, clocked in at 5:02.88 (finals) and 5:04.25 (prelims) in 500 freestyle; :57.36 (finals) and :57.60 (prelims) in 100 butterfly; and 2:06.67 (finals) and 2:09.39 in 200 butterfly.
•    Touched the wall 19th in 1650 freestyle (17:24.08).
•    At Virginia, earned fifth place on 200 freestyle relay (:24.83 split) and third place in 400 freestyle relay (:54.80 split).
•    Individually took sixth in 200 freestyle (1:57.94) and seventh in 200 butterfly (2:08.83).
•    Against Northwestern, placed fifth on 400 freestyle relay (54.26 split), sixth in 100 butterfly (:58.41), seventh in 200 freestyle (1:56.60) and eighth in 200 butterfly (2:09.33).
•    Swam in seven events at the Shamrock Invitational.
•    Highest finish came on fourth-place 800 freestyle relay team (1:57.33 split), but also took ninth on 400 medley relay (:54.24 split) and 10th on 400 freestyle relay (:54.86 split).
•    Individually, touched the wall in 5:04.93 in 500 freestyle, :58.93 in 100 butterfly, 1:56.81 in 200 freestyle and 2:10.31 in 200 butterfly.
•    Ended the year on a high note at the Michigan First Chance meet.
•    Claimed third in 500 freestyle (5:03.49), second in 100 butterfly (:57.01) and won 200 butterfly race (2:06.76).
•    Time-trialed in 200 freestyle, finishing in 1:54.17.

PREP & PERSONAL:

•    Swam with Kamehameha Swim Club during prep career.
•    Club team named bronze medal USA Swimming club in 2012 and 2013, and earned silver medal recognition in 2014 and 2015.
•    During high school years, contributed to seven straight Age Group Championship titles won by club team.
•    Swam with three relay teams that broke and currently hold Hawaiian records in the 400 freestyle relay (record set on Mar. 8, 2012), the 200 freestyle relay (record set on Mar. 13, 2013) and the 800 freestyle relay (record set on Mar. 12, 2014).
•    Also swam with the 800 freestyle relay team that set the 17-18 year old age group record.
•    Earned four varsity letters in swimming at Mid-Pacific Institute.
•    As a freshman, earned second place at the Hawaii High School State Championships, placing first in the 200 medley relay and second in the 400 freestyle relay in addition to claiming second in the 200 freestyle and third in the 500 freestyle.
•    In sophomore campaign, prep team earned the school’s first state championship, swimming to first place in the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays.
•    Individually, swam to second place in the 200 and 500 freestyle events.
•    As a junior, team placed second at state championships, earning first in the 200 freestyle relay and second in the 400 freestyle relay.
•    Individually, swam to third place in the 200 freestyle and crowned state champion in the 500 freestyle.
•    Team repeated as state champions during senior season, claiming first in the 400 freestyle relay and second in the 200 medley relay.
•    Won state title in 100 butterfly (:56.36) and 500 freestyle (4:56.29).
•    500 freestyle time set new Hawaii High School state record.
•    Graduated from Mid-Pacific in May of 2015.
•    Eldest daughter of Stephan and Theresa Walton.
•    Has one sister, Mariah.
•    Enrolled in the College of Engineering, majoring in environmental engineering.
