• 2022 Cambria College Classic All-Tournament Team

GRADUATE STUDENT SEASON (2022 – Notre Dame)

• Made 14 appearances on the season before an injury cost him the rest of the year.
• Finished with a 2.42 ERA, 0-1 record with 3 saves through 26.0 innings with 39 strikeouts.
• 11 of his 14 appearances went longer than 1.0 inning.
• Had a season-high 6 strikeouts against #17 NC State in March and against Stetson.
• Named to the 2022 Cambria College Classic All-Tournament Team after tossing 2.0 innings of no-hit ball with 4 strikeouts to earn the save over Michigan State. (3/5/22)
• Made his Notre Dame debut against Stetson and earned his first save with the Irish after 3.0 innings of work. (2/19/22)

McLinskey transferred to Notre Dame ahead of the 2021 fall semester after beginning his collegiate career at Seton Hall.

AS A SENIOR (2021 – Seton Hall)

• The Pirates’ Friday starter
• Finished second on the team with 66 strikeouts
• Ranked sixth in the BIG EAST with a 2.81 ERA and tied for fourth with 12 starts
• Had six strikeouts and allowed only one run in his first win of the season at Fordham on April 1
• Went 6.2 innings allowing only one run and striking out five in the win over Butler on April 9
• Fanned a career-best 10 batters and didn’t allow an earned run in the win against Georgetown on April 30
• Posted eight strikeouts and gave up one run in 6.2 innings against Xavier on May 7
• BIG EAST All-Academic Team

AS A JUNIOR (2020 – Seton Hall)

• Went 2-0 in four starts as the team’s Friday starter
• Struck out 22 batters in 21.1 innings of work, leading the Pirates in both categories
• Fanned eight batters in his first win of the season at Liberty on Feb. 21
• Allowed only two earned runs and struck out six in four innings at No. 18 Wake Forest on Feb. 14
• Went 5.2 innings and struck out six at USC on Feb. 28
• Had a season-long outing of six innings at Saint Mary’s on March 6

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019 – Seton Hall)

• Made 21 appearances, all in relief
• Pitched to an 1-3 record with a 4.63 ERA and 29 strikeouts with 13 walks in 23.1 innings pitched
• Opponents hit .270 against him
• One of four Pirate pitchers to appear in at least 20 games
• Pitched a scoreless eighth inning at St. John’s with two strikeouts on May 18
• Tossed 1.2 scoreless innings at St. John’s on May 16
• Earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief vs. Georgetown on May 10
• Tossed a scoreless ninth inning with two strikeouts at Saint Peter’s on April 30
• Pitched a scoreless eighth inning at Monmouth on April 16
• Tossed 1.1 scoreless innings with two strikeouts and no walks in game two of a doubleheader at Villanova on April 6
• Pitched a perfect inning with a strikeout at Iona on March 31
• Tossed a scoreless inning with two strikeouts vs. Ohio State on Feb. 17

AS A FRESHMAN (2018 – Seton Hall)

• Made 17 appearances, all in relief
• Pitched to an 0-1 record with a 5.19 ERA and 25 strikeouts with 10 walks in 26.0 innings pitched
• Opponents hit .264 against him
• Pitched three scoreless innings vs. Villanova on May 1
• Tossed a scoreless inning with two strikeouts vs. Monmouth on April 18
• Pitched a scoreless inning vs. Xavier in game two of a doubleheader on April 14
• Allowed only one hit over three innings with three strikeouts and no walks at Hawaii on March 26
• Turned in a career-best effort with 3.1 innings of scoreless relief, scattering just two hits, with five strikeouts and no walks at Florida Atlantic on March 10
• Tossed a scoreless inning with two strikeouts vs. Youngstown State on March 4
• Made his collegiate debut at NC State in game one of a doubleheader on Feb. 16 with a scoreless eighth inning

• Three-year letter winner in baseball as a right-handed pitcher and infielder
• Named to the All-Conference Second Team and the All-County Second Team as a senior

• Went 2-0 with a 0.32 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 28 innings pitched, while also batting .320 as a senior
