PREP AND PERSONAL

• Competed on the New Trier rowing team all four years of high school and was a regular qualifier for the Scholastic Rowing Association of America nationals.
• Placed first in the SRAA freshman 8+ in 2022 then followed up with a third place finish at the U-16 Youth Nationals in 8+.
• Finished second in the 2023 SRAA nationals in the 2V8+ and third the following season at the SRAA nationals in the J8+.
• The 2025 rowing season saw her finish 2nd in the 2V8+ at the SRAA nationals then go on to finish 6th at the Youth Nationals in the 2V8+.
• Daughter of Han Qi and Frank Gao.
• Has a brother, William, and two sisters, Marilyn and Hannah.
• Sister, Marilyn, competed in rowing at Lehigh.
