• Competed in state finals in three seasons.
• Named to the Washington Post All-Metropolitan honorable mention in 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2017-18.
• Took second place at states in the 200m and 500m free in 2015-16.
• Won district, regional and state championships during her junior year in the 100m free, 200m free and 500m free.
• Named the Washington Post’s All_Metropolitan Swimmer of the Year in 2016-17.
• Competed for the Nation’s Capital swim team (club).
• Was named PVS Swimmer of the Year.
• Club team won NCSA Championships.
• Holds the NAG record for the 800m freestyle relay.
• Born in Pretoria, South Africa.
• Daughter of Tertius and Marieta Eksteen.
• Has a sister, Kayla.
• Enrolled in First Year of Studies, plans to major in environmental science.
