Rowing Begins 2026 Season In Tennessee

The University of Notre Dame rowing team began the 2026 season after a full week of training in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, with the Cardinal Invitational, hosted by Louisville on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15. 

The Irish competed against North Carolina and No. 14 Indiana on Saturday morning, Wisconsin and Louisville on Saturday afternoon then No. 25 Oklahoma, Miami FL, and Wisconsin on Sunday morning.

The Saturday afternoon session saw solid performances across all entries for Notre Dame as the 4V4, 3V8, V4 and 2V8 all won their races. The V8 was right behind future ACC Championship opponent Louisville (6:42.796) in 6:44.201. 

Notre Dame will return to action in two weeks at No. 20 Ohio State on March 28.
