University of Notre Dame women’s golf sophomore Chloe Schiavone was one of 36 individuals selected to compete in the 2022 NCAA Regionals on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, as announced on NCAA.com. The Jacksonville, Florida, native has been assigned to the Ann Arbor Regional at the U-M Golf Course which will begin on May 9.
Of the 396 players participating in the regionals, 132 will advance to the championship finals, with the top four teams and top two individuals (not on an advancing team) advancing from each regional.
Schiavone is coming off a 24th finish in the 2022 ACC Championship with a 76-74-74 (+8) to cap her first full year of competition for the Irish (the team faced a truncated schedule in 2020-21 due to COVD-19). She earned four top-1o finishes in 2021-22 including a tie for fourth place at the Westbrook Invitational.
