Loyola battled back in the second half scoring the first two goals of the half to cut the lead to 7-5 before Glatzel got his fourth goal of the game at 4:02 of the third period to give Notre Dame an 8-5 lead after three periods.

The Greyhounds got fourth quarter goals from Gavin Prout and Bobby Horsey to cut the Irish lead to 8-7 at the 10:02 mark.
