The University of Notre Dame softball team’s single game at Valparaiso, scheduled for Tuesday, April 25, at 5 p.m. CDT has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will now be played on Thursday, April 27, at 3:30 p.m. CDT.

In other Irish softball news, senior Mallorie Lenn and freshman Brittney Bargar were named to the BIG EAST Conference weekly honor roll on Monday, April 23. Lenn and Bargar helped the Irish to a 5-1 week and 4-0 record in BIG EAST play, as Notre Dame assumed first place in the conference standings with an overall record of 13-1. Lenn finished the week with a .474 batting average, two doubles, a home run and seven RBI. Bargar was 3-0 with a 1.05 ERA and struck out 17 in 20.0 innings pitched.

Notre Dame softball’s weekly release will be pushed back to Thursday, April 27, in preparation for the team’s key conference matchups at USF and Louisville this weekend. The Irish return to action at Ivy Field on Wednesday, April 26, with a doubleheader against Purdue at 4:00 p.m.
