Softball's Single Game At Valparaiso Postponed

The University of Notre Dame softball team (19-9) has postponed its third consecutive game. The Irish were set to make a short trip to Valparaiso to face the Crusaders in a single game at 4 p.m. this afternoon, but a strong frost overnight has frozen the field and forced the postponement of the contest.

Notre Dame and Valparaiso will attempt to play tomorrow, Tuesday, March 23 at 4 p.m.

In other Irish softball schedule news, the make up date for the doubleheader with Western Michigan was incorrect in yesterday’s release. The Irish and Broncos will meet on April 1 at 3 and 5 p.m. (not April 2 as previously reported).
