SENIOR SEASON (2022)
- Played and started in all 58 games on the season.
- Ended the year with 81 hits, 55 runs, 13 2B, 3 3B, 8 HR, 48 RBI, 2 SB and slashed .339/.392/.519.
- Led the team in hits and runs and was second on the squad in doubles and batting average.
- The 81 hits were the most by an Irish player in a single season since 2013 when Trey Mancini had 89 hits on the year.
- Hit a 2-run home run in the top of the first in Notre Dame’s 8-6 win over No. 1 Tennessee in the first game of the Super Regionals. (6/10/22)
- Hit a solo home run in the ninth inning in Notre Dame’s 7-3 win over No. 9 Texas at the College World Series. (6/17/22)
- Hit a walk-off single in Notre Dame’s 13-12 comeback win over Wake Forest to sweep the series. (4/24/22)
- Tied a career high with 4 hits against Oklahoma at the College World Series. (6/19/22)
- Tied a career high with 3 runs scored against Michigan State. (5/10/22)

JUNIOR SEASON (2021)
- Played and started in all 47 games on the season.
- Ended the year with 40 runs, 57 hits, 11 2B, 3 3B, 6 HR, 45 RBI, 3 SB and slashed .305/.369/.492.
- Tied for the team lead with 57 hits, second on the squad with 45 RBI and tied for third on the team with six home runs.
- Was one of six Irish named to the South Bend Regional All-Tournament Team.
- Set a career high with five RBI and tied a career high with three runs against Central Michigan (6/6).
- Was one of four Irish to be named to All-ACC teams following the season, the most the Irish have had in a single season since joining the league in 2014.
- Tied a career high with three runs and four RBI against North Carolina (5/2).
- Set a career high with four hits against Central Michigan (4/13).
- Tied a career high with three hits against Clemson (3/6) and Virginia (3/14).
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020)*
- Played in 11 games and made 10 starts during the abbreviated season.
- Finished the season with a .316 average, 11 runs, 12 hits, 10 RBI and one home run.
- Ranked third on the team in batting average (.316) and RBI (10) and fourth in runs (11).
- Tied a career high with four RBI in the 14-8 win over North Carolina to clinch the series sweep.
- Putz hit his only home run of the season in the fifth inning of the series finale against the Tar Heels.
- Tied a career high with three hits and three runs scored in the series clinching 9-3 win over UAB.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2019)
- Played in 52 games and led all freshmen on the team with 47 starts between first base and designated hitter.
- Tied for fourth on the team with 46 hits and fifth with five stolen bases.
- Recorded a career high three hits four times this season against Incarnate Word (2/23), Florida State (3/23-2), Georgia Tech (3/29) and Pitt (4/20-2).
- Also had a career high four RBI against Florida State (3/23-2).
- Set a career high with three runs against Wake Forest (3/10-2) and Pitt (4/20-2).
- Had his first career home run in the first inning of Notre Dame 9-6 win on the road against Georgia Tech (3/28).
- Played summer ball with the Duluth Huskies in the Northwoods League.
PERSONAL
- Graduated from Bishop Miege High School in May of 2018 and intends to major in business.
- Earned four varsity letters in baseball and three in football.
- Guided his team to a state runner-up finish in baseball, batting .460 (40-87) with 13 extra-base hits and 23 RBI.
- Led his football team to three state titles. Collected 2,844 passing yards and 38 touchdowns while rushing for 596 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior.
- Was a member of National Honor Society, received the Academic Achievement Award (4.2 GPA or better) and landed on the Academic Honor Roll.
- Grandfather Gary Gibboney played baseball and swam at Ball State.
- Carter David Putz is the son of David and Jennifer Putz. Has two brothers, Jude and Rohan.
