JUNIOR SEASON (2021)

• Made two appearances on the season.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020)*

• Made three appearances during the abbreviated season.
• Finished the year with a 0.00 ERA through 6.0 innings pitched, 1-0 record while allowing just one hit and held opponents to a .056 batting average.
• Set a career high with 3.0 innings pitched and three strikeouts to pick up the win in the 9-2 victory over UAB to clinch the series.
• Tied his career high with three strikeouts in 2.1 innings against UTSA on Feb. 22.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2019)

• Made seven appearances and one start in his freshman campaign with the Irish.
• Pitched a career high two innings in relief to pick up the series clinching win on the road against Wake Forest (3/10-2).
• Earned his first save on the road in the series-clinching win over No. 12 Clemson (3/17).
• First career start came at home against Chicago State (3/26).

PERSONAL

• Graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School in May of 2018 and intends to major in finance.
• Went 4-3 with a 2.20 ERA over 41.1 innings as a senior.
• Led his team to back-to-back district titles and two regional runner-ups as a sophomore and junior. Was named First Team OCC-Ohio, First Team All-District, Mizuno All-Ohio and OCC Scholar Athlete.
• Placed first in the Business Services Operations Research event at the 2018 DECA International Career Development Conference and was a four-time honor roll member.
• Played club baseball with Bo Jackson Elite, the 81st ranked travel team in the country by Perfect Game.
• Mitchel Edward Megias is the son of Michael and Melanie Megias.
