SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)

• Tallied .275/.363/.625 (AVG/OB/SLG) in the 2024 regular season, appearing in 48 games and starting in 44
• Led the Irish in doubles with 17 in 2024 
• Earned two starts at second base in the season-opening sweep of Rice (February 16-18). Drew a pair of walks and tallied 8 assists from the middle infield for the Irish. 
• Notched an RBI in a 13-4 win at FIU (February 23)
• Went 3-for-4 at the plate, smashing three homers, scoring three runs and six RBI in a 15-11 victory over Tennessee Tech (March 2)
• Scored a combined six runs on five hits in the series sweep of Tennessee Tech (March 1-3)
• Recorded his second three-homer day of the season and third of his career by going yard three times vs. Purdue (March 5), making him the only player in program history to hit three home runs in three separate games (March 2, 2024 at Tennessee Tech; April 21, 2023 vs. Virginia) 
• Recorded a hit and a run in the series finale versus Virginia Tech (March 10)
• Went 2-for-3, scored a run and drove in an RBI in the 10-3 win at Radford (March 13)
• Hit an RBI double in the series finale against Florida State (March 17)
• Went 3-for-4, including two doubles for two RBI, in a 16-11 win versus Western Michigan (March 19)
• Doubled twice and notched an RBI in a 5-2 victory over Miami (FL) (March 23)
• Combined for four doubles, scored three runs and drove in three RBI in the away series at NC State (March 28-30)
• Hit two doubles for two RBI versus Clemson (April 5)
• Homered and tripled–nearly hitting for the cycle–with four RBI against Clemson (April 7)
• Tacked on two more doubles in a 2-for-4 performance at North Carolina (April 14)
• Went on a 12-game hit streak while amassing 23 hits for 35 total bases between March 17 – April 14
• Tallied two walks and two runs in a 15-5 win over Purdue Fort Wayne (April 17)
• Had a two homer, four RBI performance and went 3-for-4 in a 13-0 victory over Boston College (April 21)
• Recorded his fourth multi-homer game of the season with two home runs and three RBI in a dominant 11-3 triumph against No. 8 Wake Forest (April 28)
• Homered, hit two doubles and combined for five RBI in a series win against Pittsburgh (May 5)
• Hit a homer and scored a run at Louisville (May 16)

FRESHMAN SEASON (2023)

• Started 51 of 52 games in his debut season with the Irish
• Batted .209 with 27 runs, 37 hits, five doubles, seven home runs and 24 RBI. Also went 6-8 on stolen base attempts.
• Posted a .969% fielding percentage with 317 putouts
• Notched his first-career RBI in the win over Lipscomb (2/18)
• Tallied his first-career hit at UNC Greensboro (2/26)
• Hit his first-career home run in the 7-3 win at UAB (3/4), bringing in three runs for the Irish
• Marked his first-career multi-hit game in the series opened at Wake Forest (3/18) with two hits
• Put on a standout performance for his young career in the 10-7 win over Virginia (4/21) with three home runs, marking the first time an Irish player recorded three home runs in a game since Jake Shepski did it on March 24, 2016 at Virginia Tech.

• Son to Martin and Shanna Moreno. His older sister, Alyssa, played soccer at Elgin Community College and older brother, Martin, played baseball at Defiance College.
