AS A SENIOR: Fashioned impressive cross country campaign for the Irish, leading the squad at three meets and earning all-BIG EAST and NCAA Great Lakes all-region honors … was tops on the team with a 96th place finish out of 253 runners at the NCAA National Championship 6K meet (20:47.2) in helping the Irish to a 15th place showing out of 31 teams … earned all-region honors after finishing 15th out of 217 runners at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional 6K meet (20:48) in helping Notre Dame to a third place finish out of 32 teams … also took 15th at the 6K BIG EAST Championship meet (126 runners) in 21:25.64 as the Irish placed fifth out of 15 teams … opened campaign by earning BIG EAST Runner of the Week accolades after winning the 6K National Catholic Championship (266 runners) in 17:11.8 … finished 18th out of 145 runners in the 5K blue race at the Notre Dame Invitational (17:03) … closed out regular season with a 56th place showing out of 327 runners at the 6K Wisconsin Invitational (20:32) … earned a cross country monogram … capped off outstanding career for the Irish by earning first team All-America honors after taking fourth in the 1,500m run (4:14.42) at the NCAA Outdoor Championships … closed out indoor season by earning first team All-America honors at the NCAA Indoor Championships after placing eighth in the mile (4:39.48) … placed second in both the 1,500m (4:24.43) and as a member of the 4×800 relay team (8:44.13) at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships to earn all-BIG EAST honors in both events … at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships placed first in the mile (4:40.72), second in the 4x800m relay (8:40.59) and third in the distance medley relay (11:07.32) … assisted the 4x800m relay team to a first place finish (8:33.65) at the Drake Relays … brought home two more first-place finishes at the Louisville Border Battle in the 800m (2:07.12) and 1,500m (4:17.12) runs … at the first outdoor meet of the season, the Stanford Invitational, placed second in the 1,500m (4:18.07) and first in the 800m with a personal best time of 2:05.31 … at the Alex Wilson Invitational, placed first and achieved a personal best in the mile (4:33.53) as well as placing second with the distance medley relay team (10:59.08) … claimed finished first in the mile (4:39.52) at the Meyo Invitational … earned second place finish in the mile (4:44.14) at the Indiana University Relays along with a first place finish as a member of the 4x800m relay (8:47.94)… started off the indoor track season with a first place finish in the 3,000m (9:40.27) at the Notre Dame Invitational … on the Capital One Academic All-District V Track & Field/Cross Country first team … also named to the Capital One Academic All-America Division I Track & field/Cross Country second team … earned one of six Byron V.
