AS A FRESHMAN: Did not run during the cross country season or track & field seasons … named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star … named to the Dean’s List following both semesters.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Graduated from Connersville High School (Connersville, Ind.) in the spring of 2012 … a nine-time letterwinner in cross country, track & field, basketball and soccer … finished 19th at the state cross country meet (2012) running a 15:53 5K …finished 13th at the state track meet (2012) running a 4:19 in the mile … named all-state in cross country senior year and academic all-state (2011, 2012) … a four-time regional qualifier in track … named captain and MVP of cross country team (2011, 2012) awarded MVP in track junior year … earned Best Mental Attitude Award sophomore season in track … named class Valedictorian, Lilly Scholar and given the Connersville City Award for Academic Achievement Community Involvement and Outstanding Citizenship … active as the National Honor Society President, class council member, finance academy participant and as a student athletic council member … full name is Nathaniel Gilbert Stamm … born in Indianapolis, Ind. … son of Matthew Stamm and Wendy Maple … has one younger brother, Andrew … enrolled in the College of Arts & Letters … undecided on major but will work towards a supplementary major in Arts & Letters pre-health.
