AS A SENIOR (2022-23)

• Finished third in the 3000m at the Lenny Lyles Invitational with a PR of 7:59.84
• Won the mile at the Notre Dame Invitational with a PR of 4:07.91

AS A JUNIOR (2021-22)

• Took seventh place and a PR at the National Catholic Invitational with a time of 25:20.7
• Ran for a PR in the 5000m at the Joe Walker Invitational (14:13.76)

AS A SOPHOMORE (2020-21)

• Made his Notre Dame debut at the Irish Classic (5k) and took 16th with a time of 25:06.3
• Set a PR in the 3,000m at the ACC Indoor Championships, earning a 7th place finish with a time of 8:07.91

PREP AND PERSONAL

• Graduated from Fort Worth Christian in May 2019
• Son of Ken and Cathy Cheeseman 
• Was a four-time Texas state cross country champion
• Was a two-time Footlocker All-American as a high school junior and senior
• As a junior, won the Texas state championship in the 1,600 meters and 3,200 meters
• As a senior, won the Texas state championship in the 800, 1600 and 3,200 meters 
• Qualified for Team USA at the U20 World Cross Country Championships in Denmark
• Won his high school’s Latin and English Academic Award 
• Dad Ken was a distance runner at Virginia and mom Cathy was a distance runner at Tennessee-Chattanooga
• Has three sisters, Allison, Claire and Abby Faith
• Majoring in English
