AS A SENIOR (2021-22)

• Finished 31st at the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships with a time of 29:28.0 to earn All-American status
• Crossed the finish line at 30:03.9 to take 11th place at the NCAA Division I Great Lakes Regional
• Placed 4th at the ACC Cross Country Championships with a time of 23:32.6

AS A JUNIOR (2020-21)

• Placed 10th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships (10k) with a time of 30:11.5 to earn All-America status and lead the Irish to a second place team finish, tied for the best in program history
• The 10th place individual finish was the best for an Irish runner at the NCAA Championships since Patrick Smyth placed 10th at the 2008 championships
• Earned All-ACC status at the ACC Cross Country Championships (8k) by finishing seventh with a mark of 23:21.8, helping the Irish win the team title

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019-20)

• Finished 50th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships (10k) with a time of 31:30.8
• Placed 29th at the ACC Cross Country Championships (8k), crossing the line in 25:07.7
• Came in 10th in the 5,000m at the ACC Indoor Championships, posting a time of 14:16.16
• Won the 5,000m race at the Alex Wilson Invitational (14:14.10)

AS A FRESHMAN (2018-19)

• Was the first true freshman to cross the finish line and in the process claimed All-America honors (29:55.20) at the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships (10K).
• Earned All-ACC recognition after posting an 8K course PR (23:57.60) to finish 10th at the ACC Cross Country Championships.
• Crossed the 10K finish at the NCAA East Region Prelims in 29:38.57.
• Notched a PR in the 10,000-meter run (28:55.25) at the Raleigh Relays.
• Set a PR in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:21.88 at the ACC Indoor Championships.
• Established a PR in the 5,000-meter run (14:11.18) at the Iowa State Classic.

PREP AND PERSONAL:

• Attended Lyons Township High School
• Was a two-time Illinois state champion (cross country and track) as a senior
• Finished second individually at state cross country championships junior year
• Team finished second at states during his sophomore season
• Finished third in the country in track as a senior
• Son of Jeff and Debbie Kilrea.
• Has two brothers, Patrick and Kevin, and two sisters, Keegan and Kelsey
• Plans to study business with an emphasis in finance.
