AS A SOPHOMORE:

• Placed fifth in the 5000-meter run with a time of 18:13.79 at the UNF Invitational
• Logged a PR in the mile (5:06.39) at the Alex Wilson Invitational
• Notched a PR in the 3000-meter run with a time of 10:12.97 at the Notre Dame Invitational
• Took fourth in the 3000-meter run (10:23.28) to open the indoor slate at the Blue and Gold Invitational
• Time of 19:16.10 was a PR on a 5K course at the Joe Piane Invitational
• Set a PR on a 3.1M cross country course (19:36.40) at the Crusader Open

PREP AND PERSONAL:

• Finished eighth at the indoor state meet in the 4x800m relay
• During her junior year, placed sixth at the outdoor state meet and qualified for indoor meet in the 800m run
• Ninth at the outdoor state meet 4x800m relay, fourth at indoors
• Qualified for the state cross country championships as a freshman
• Daughter of Jim and Elaine VanBlunk
• Has a twin sister, Lexi
• Both parents were on St. Joseph University’s track and field team before competing professionally
• Mom, Elaine, competed at the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Trials
