• Posted a PR in the 5000m at the ACC Indoor Championships (14:01.84)
• Finished tenth with a PR in the 8k at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational (23:53.1)
• Earned All-ACC Academic honors.

AS A JUNIOR (2023-24)

• Did not compete in his junior season

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022-23)

• Posted a PR and took third place in the 3000S at the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet (9:21.87)
• Posted a PR and took fourth in the 3000M at the Alex Wilson Invitational (8:21.86)
• Competed in the 8K at the ACC Cross Country Championships (24:45.2)

AS A FRESHMAN (2021-22)

• Ran in the 5000m at the 2022 Indiana Invitational for a time of 14:39.88

PREP AND PERSONAL

• Holds PR’s in the 5000m (14:33), the 3200m (9:07), and 1600m (4:14)
• Part of the team that placed 17th at the NXN in 2019, and placed 2nd at NXR Northwest in 2019
• Placed 2nd at State in 2018 and 2019
• Placed 2nd at the XC Town USA Meet of Champions in 2020
• Son of Kathy and Jerry Schumacher; Kathy played soccer at Marquette University and Jerry ran cross country and track at the University of Wisconsin – Madison
• Has two brothers, Joshua and Eric and a sister Makenna; Joshua runs cross country and track at the University of Oregon and Makenna runs at the University of Washington.
