AS A SOPHOMORE: Coxed both the first and second novice eights for Notre Dame as a sophomore … opened spring slate in third place (6:29.808) in the Saturday afternoon portion of the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational … guided the second novice eight to a race victory of No. RV Michigan State at the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual, finishing with a winning time of 7:08.00.
AS A FRESHMAN: Coxed multiple novice and varsity boats during first season at Notre Dame … notched a third place finish (7:10.916) with the first novice eight in debut with the Irish at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational … during day two of the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite, served as the coxswain of the first novice eight boat in a runner-up finish (7:15.461) … jumped to the third varsity four boat during the ACC/Big Ten Challenge that earned a second place result (8:03.67) … claimed first race win (7:44.10) with the Irish with the second varsity four “B” boat in the Saturday morning session at the Dale England Cup.
PREP AND PERSONAL: Won four varsity letters in swimming at Zionsville Community High School … earned Academic All-American honors in swimming … multi-time top-eight finisher at the state swimming championships as a member of the Riviera Swim Team on the club level … finished in 13th place in both the air and sport pistol weapon categories at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials … volunteered with the Zionsville Food Pantry … daughter of Michael and Catherine Coscia … is one of three triplets, along with brothers Matthew and Atticus … father, Michael (’77), was a monogram winner for the Notre Dame men’s fencing team … enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters as a psychology major.
