AS A SENIOR:
- Finished her senior season with a record of 24-23, competing in all six contests
- Opened the season going 9-2 at the Elite Invitational
- Posted a 3-2 record at the NYU Invitational
- Finished the season with a 5-2 record at the ACC Championships
AS A JUNIOR:
- Capped an excellent junior campaign with a third-place finish at the ACC Championships
- Went 11-3 during pool play to advance to direct elimination at conference championships; fell to Duke’s Lindsay Sapienza in the semifinal before defeating UNC’s Diana Philpot in the third-place bout
- Placed fifth at the Midwest Regional
- Went 35-18 during the year in dual bouts
- Posted a 6-2 mark during team play at ACCs as the Irish won their third straight conference championship
- Named to the All-ACC Academic Team
- Earned a monogram
AS A SOPHOMORE:
- Turned in a 40-14 record during the 2016 season
- Began the year with an 8-1 record at the DeCicco Duals
- Went 14-7 at the Northwestern Duals
- Wrapped the regular season with a 12-3 mark at the Duke Duals
- Went 6-3 during the ACC Championship team competition to help the Irish capture their second straight women’s title
- Finished eighth overall in individual competition at ACCs
- Named to the All-ACC Academic Team
- Earned a monogram
AS A FRESHMAN:
- One of five freshmen to compete for the Irish at NCAA Championships, helped women’s team win ACC team title and finished second in women’s sabre competition
- Earned second-highest season record on the women’s sabre team with 51-21 mark, behind classmate Francesca Russo
- Began the year 10-5 at Ohio State Elite Cup, followed by near-matching 8-6 and 8-4 records at St. John’s and NYU
- Finished Northwestern Duals with 14-5 mark, and went on to post 4-0 undefeated record at DeCicco Duals before logging a 7-1 record at ACC Championship in team competition
- At ACC Championship, finished second in women’s sabre competition, sporting a 12-3 record
- At NCAA Midwest Regional, finished third with 9-3 record
- At NCAA Championship, earned an 11-12 record, good for 13th place
- Earned a monogram
PREP AND PERSONAL:
- Graduated from Bergen County Academies in June of 2014
- Competed in both volleyball and fencing at Bergen County, earning four varsity letters
- Outside of school, practiced with the Bergen Fencing Club
- Captained prep fencing team junior and season seasons
- Ranked 23rd in the nation by U.S. News at one point in prep career
- As a freshman, won the New Jersey state qualifier tournament
- In sophomore season, women’s fencing team ranked as high as No. 2 in the state of New Jersey
- Named New Jersey athlete of the week
- As a junior, won the New Jersey state qualifier tournament for second time in her career and won the Holy Angels Tournament in same season
- Women’s sabre team ranked No. 2 in the state
- Also placed fifth at Summer National Championships
- As a senior did not compete due to injury
- Biggest athletic thrill to date remains winning the 2013 Junior Olympics
- Off the strip, was named to school’s honor roll all four years and served as an event director with the Polish American Sports Association
- Only child of Ted and Inga Kulmacz
- Father Ted competed in fencing and weightlifting at the Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw, Poland, while mother, Inga played volleyball at the University of Economics & Finance in Warsaw as well
- Born in Bayonne, New Jersey but currently calls Upper Saddle River, New Jersey home
- Enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business
