AS A SENIOR:

• Compiled a 14-2 record after competing at DeCicco Duals on senior weekend
• Finished his Irish career with a 75-26 overall record

AS A JUNIOR:

• Posted an 18-14 record over four meets
• Finished the DeCicco Duals with a 12-3 weekend record
• Competed at the ACC Championships, finishing 1-1

AS A SOPHOMORE:

• Went 19-7 on the year, competing at NYU, DeCicco and Northwestern Invitationals
• Posted a 13-4 mark over two days at DeCicco Duals
• Wrapped his season at 5-2 at the Northwestern Invitational

AS A FRESHMAN:

• Wrapped the 2016 season with a 26-3 sabre record
• Went 1-1 at the Elite Invitational
• Placed 22nd at the Penn State Open
• Went 17-2 over two days at Notre Dame’s DeCicco Duals
• Wrapped up his season with a perfect 8-0 mark at the Northwestern Duals
• Earned a monogram

PREP AND PERSONAL:

• Graduated from Eastside High School (Gainesville, Florida) in May 2015
• Fenced with club team Sabre Outreach Network, as well as the Canadian Cadet and Junior national teams
• Placed 32nd at the 2015 Junior World Cup in Dormagen, Germany
• Placed eighth in the junior division at the 2015 July North American Cup
• Helped Canada to third place at the 2015 Junior Pan-American Championships in Toronto
• Placed third individually at the 2014 Cadet Pan-Am Championships in Guatemala City, Guatemala
• Finished eighth in the cadet division at the 2013 October North American Cup
• Is an Eagle Scout
• Son of David Brown and Carolyn Takeda-Brown
• Has a twin brother, Daniel, and younger sister, Melissa
