AS A SENIOR:
- Competed in three meets on the season, posting an undefeated 36-0 record
- Went 3-0 in her first contest of the season, the NYU Invitational
- Finished with the best team record at the DeCicco Duals for the second year in a row, posting a 24-0 record
- Finished her senior season with a 9-0 record at the Northwestern Duals
AS A JUNIOR:
- Posted 28-0 on the season, competing at the DeCicco Duals and Northwestern Invitational
- Turned in the best record of the weekend with a 23-0 at DeCicco
- Wrapped the season 5-0 at Northwestern Duals
AS A SOPHOMORE:
- Went 36-4 during the regular season
- Went 28-1 over two days at the DeCicco Duals
- Finished the season 8-3 at the Northwestern Duals
- Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll
AS A FRESHMAN:
- Did not compete with the Irish
PREP AND PERSONAL:
- Competed with current Irish teammate Allison Barry at Manhattan Fencing Center during prep career
- With club team, won bronze in Division III Summer Nationals competition
- Placed 13th in Division IA and 24th in U-20 2014 Summer Nationals competition
- As a freshman, won high school’s sabre all-star award
- Named top girl in Independent Schools Fencing League (ISFL) individual tournament
- As a sophomore posted undefeated individual season and again was No. 1 in ISFL girls sabre competition
- Named sabre squad captain
- Took team gold at ISFL team tournament
- Repeated as undefeated, individual ISFL tournament winner junior year and took gold once again in team ISFL tournament
- Capped senior season ranked first in ISFL individual rankings
- Won high school’s MVP Wildcat award
- In addition to fencing competed with the sailing team for one year also
- Graduated from Rye Country Day School in June of 2014
- Named a national merit finalist in ’14, and earned silver honors on the national Spanish exam in 2011 and ’13, taking gold in 2012
- Took silver honors on national Latin exam in 2012
- Named an AP Scholar in 2013
- Volunteered in spare time as an ESL teacher to adult immigrants and was a camp counselor at Flint Park Day Camp, in addition to serving as president of Amnesty International Club
- Middle child of Timothy and Claire Gallagher
- Father Timothy attended Notre Dame
- Has one brother, Will, and one sister, Hope
- Hails from Larchmont, New York, the same area as men’s swimmers Kevin Hughes and Richard Mannix and fellow Irish sabreist Jonah Shainberg
- Enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business, with the intent to major in economics.
