  • Went undefeated at the NYU Invitational (7-0) and the Northwestern Duals (8-0)
  • Completed the DeCicco Duals with a 5-1 record
  • Rounded out the season with a 3-1 record at the ACC Championships

AS A SOPHOMORE:

  • Followed standout freshman campaign with another outstanding season as a sophomore
  • Named a Second Team All-American after a fifth-place at the NCAA Championships
  • Placed fourth at the NCAA Midwest Regional
  • Claimed second straight ACC women’s foil title, defeating teammate Lee Kiefer in the title bout
  • Also named the most outstanding fencer of the ACC Championships
  • Went 27-7 during dual bouts
  • Was 9-3 at the St. John’s Invite and 7-2 at NYU
  • Was 6-1 at the DeCicco Duals
  • Posted a 5-1 record during team play at the ACC Championships as the Irish won their third straight conference title

AS A FRESHMAN:

  • Turned in a phenomenal freshman campaign, capped by a First Team All-America showing with a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships
  • Went 20-3 during pool play to earn a seed into direct elimination at NCAAs
  • Fell to eventual national champion Eleanor Harvey 15-9 in the semifinal bout
  • Went 16-1 at NCAA Midwest Regionals to claim the regional crown
  • Went undefeated in pool and elimination play during the ACC Women’s Foil Championship to claim the crown, defeating teammate Elyssa Kleiner 15-13 in the championship bout
  • Went 8-1 during dual play at ACCs to help the Irish claim their second straight conference title
  • Named the ACC Women’s Foilist of the Year
  • Kicked off the season with a 13-2 mark at the Penn Elite Invitational
  • Went 16-2 at the Northwestern Duals

PREP AND PERSONAL:

  • Graduated from the Drew School in May 2015
  • In addition to fencing, competed with school’s volleyball and badminton teams
  • During junior season with volleyball team, named NorCal Volleyball Tournament MVP and team offensive MVP
  • Named captain junior and senior seasons, earning first team all-league honors in the process
  • Competes with former Irish foilist Gerek Meinhardt and current Irish classmate Elyssa Kleiner at family club facility, the Massialas Foundation
  • Has strong family history with the sport of fencing as father, Gregory, was a three-time Olympian and older brother Axel competed alongside Meinhardt at the 2012 Games
  • Biggest athletic thrill to date remains winning the 2014 Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China, and winning the Juniors team competition at the 2014 World Championships with future Irish teammate Lee Kiefer
