AS A JUNIOR:
- Qualified for first career NCAA Championships appearance

- Opened the season with an 8th-place showing at the Penn State Garret Open
- Turned in a dominant performance at NCAA Midwest Regional Championships to capture the regional crown and qualify for the national meet. Posted an 8-2 mark with a +26 indicator to best the field

AS A SOPHOMORE:
- In five contests this season, posted a 33-24 record
- Opened the season at the Elite Invitational where he finished 9-3
- Competed at the Northwestern Invitational with a record of 9-6
- Finished the season at the ACC Championships where he posted a 6-3 record
AS A FRESHMAN:
- Competed in every meet for the Irish, going 32-35 on the season
- Made his debut at the Elite Invitational, going 8-5 on the day
- Went 5-9 at the St. John’s Invitational and 2-5 the next day at the NYU Invitational
- Turned in a 6-2 mark at the DeCicco Duals
- Posted a 9-11 record at the Northwestern Invitational
- Was 2-3 in helping the Irish to their third straight ACC title during team competition at the ACC Championships
- Finished in sixth place at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships
PREP AND PERSONAL:
- Is believed to be the first Russian fencer to join the Irish fencing program
- Joins the program ranking third on the cadet circuit by the European Fencing Confederation
- Owns a 168-46 record, having helped Russia to the men’s sabre 2015 and 2016 U17 European Championship titles
- Finished 10th in April 2016 at the Cadet World Championships in Bourges, France
- Finished fifth as an individual at the 2016 U17 European Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia
- Is the son of Pavel and Anastassia, and brother of Polina
- Majoring in Chemical Engineering
