HONORS AND AWARDS:

• 2017 DeCicco/Langford Award

AS A SENIOR:

• Finished his final season with the Irish with a 3-3 record after competing at the Elite Invitational
• Ended his career with a 65-40 overall record

AS A JUNIOR:

• Finished seventh at the Penn State Garret Open to start the year
• Went 14-15 in dual competition 
• Career record moved to 62-37
• Earned the team’s Steve Donlon Award for leadership in men’s epee

AS A SOPHOMORE:

• Finished the season with a record of 20-5
• Went undefeated in three straight contests – St. John’s Invitational (1-0), NYU Invitational (4-0) and DeCicco Duals (5-0)
• Wrapped the regular-season at the Northwestern Duals with a record of 10-2

AS A FRESHMAN:

• Went 28-17 during first season with the Irish
• Posted a 4-4 mark at the Elite Invitational
• Went 4-5 at the St. John’s Invitational and 6-2 a day later at the NYU Invite
• Registered 2-0 record at the DeCicco Duals
• Turned in a 10-4 tally at the Northwestern Duals
• Was 2-2 during team play at the ACC Championships
• Finished eighth in individual competition at the ACC Championships
• Named the co-winner of the DeCicco/Langford Award with Hazem Khazbak, given to “that mainstay of the team who inspires his teammates in victory, consoles them in defeat, and is there for Monday’s practice to push them to further achievement”

PREP AND PERSONAL:

• A member of the Battle Born Fencing Club …
• Joins the Irish having won both gold and silver at North American Cups in 2015-16
• As a high school sophomore, won epee team gold at the Cadet World Cup in France
• Finished in the top eight at a Cadet World Cup in Austria
• A graduate of Bishop Gorman High School, the same high school as current Irish football players Nicco Fertitta and Alize Jones, and recent first-round NFL Draft pick Ronnie Stanley
• He is the son of Rick and Lydia and the older bother to Kensington
• Enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business with a major in Business Analytics
