AS A JUNIOR

  • Posted a 60-14 record fencing foil, and a 11-1 record fencing sabre.
  • Went 13-1 at the at the Ohio State Elite Invitational.

AS A SOPHOMORE

  • Defeated teammate Andrew Machovec to claim the 2021 NCAA Men’s Foil Championship
  • Was the third straight individual men’s foil championship won by a Notre Dame student athlete after Nick Itkin won in 2018 and 2019 and there were no NCAA’s in 2020
  • Helped the Irish win their 11th national championship in program history at the NCAA Championships
  • Earned his second career first team All-American honors
  • Went 14-4 during the regular season
  • Improved his career record to 44-12

AS A FRESHMAN

  • Compiled a 22-7 record during the regular season after splitting time between the Irish and International Competitions
  • Opened his collegiate career with a 10-5 record at the Elite Invitational
  • Went 6-0 at home during the DeCicco Duals
  • Went 8-1 in the team competition at the ACC Championships and helped the Irish claim the team title
  • Following his performance at ACC’s, he was named the ACC Men’s Most Valuable Fencer for the Championship
  • Captured the Midwest Regional Championship after going 14-0 on the day to claim a bid to the NCAA Championship

  • Graduated from the Florida Virtual School in 2019
  • Team gold medal and bronze individual medal at the 2019 Bolivia Junior Pan American Championships
  • Team bronze medalist at the Aix-En-Provence Junior World Cup in 2019
  • Sixth place individual finisher and fourth place team finisher at the 2019 Torun Junior World Championships
  • Silver medalist at the 2018 Verona Cadet World Championships
  • Team gold medalist at the 2018 San Jose Junior Pan American Championships in Costa Rica
  • 2017 Junior Olympics Junior silver medalist, Cabries Cadet European Cup gold medalist, November NAC Junior silver medalist and Leszno Junior World Cup team silver medalist
  • Member of the Blue Grass Fencing Club for four years
  • Worked with coach Amgad Khazbak, who mentored former Irish fencers including Lee Kiefer and Gerek Meinhart
