  • Started all 13 games, finishing fourth on the team with 74 tackles, 3.0 TFLs, one sack, one interception, two break-ups, a QB hurry, one fumble recovery and three forced fumbles
  • Recorded an interception in win over Virginia
  • Had nine tackles in the season-opening win over Louisville
  • Recorded a break-up in the regular-season finale at Stanford

JUNIOR SEASON (2018)

  • Selected as Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week after making two interceptions and eight tackles against No. 12 Syracuse
  • Named to the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Award Watch List
  • Started all 13 games with 95 total tackles, 3.0 TFLs, five break-ups, three forced fumbles and two interceptions (both against No. 12 Syracuse)
  • Set a Notre Dame bowl record for most tackles in a game with 19 against Clemson
  • Recorded 10 tackles against USC
  • Named the team’s Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year in 2017 (DNP after transferring from Naval Academy)
  • Honorable mention All-American Athletic Conference and ECAC Rookie of the Year as a freshman at Navy in 2016

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2017)

FRESHMAN SEASON (2016 NAVY)

  • Played in all 14 games and started 12
  • Finished second on the team in tackles with 76 (50-26), second in pass breakups (five) and second with two fumble recoveries
  • Forced a fumble
  • Recorded six tackles against LA Tech in the Armed Forces Bowl
  • Produced eight tackles against Army
  • Recorded six tackles, including a tackle for loss against Temple in the AAC Championship Game
  • Posted four tackles at SMU, including a tackle for a loss of four yards
  • Chipped in a pair of tackles at East Carolina
  • Registered three solo stops and a pass breakup against Tulsa
  • Paced the Mids with 12 tackles against Notre Dame
  • Produced five tackles, including two tackles for a loss at USF
  • Turned in three solo tackles and broke up two passes in the win over Memphis
  • Part of a defensive unit that caused three Houston turnovers (2 INT, 1 Fumble) that in turn led to 17 points for the Mids

  • Earned his first career start and played a spectacular game against UConn in the conference opener
  • Earned AAC Defensive Player of the Week and Honorable Mention Jim Thorpe Defensive Back of the Week honors after he recorded a career-high 10 tackles, including nine solo stops, forced a fumble and recovered two fumbles
  • Returned the first of the two fumbles for two yards and his first career touchdown
  • Made his collegiate debut in the Mids’ opener against Fordham where he contributed a pair of solo tackles
