SENIOR SEASON (2022)

  • Named a team captain prior to the start of the 2022 season. Played in 12 games, making 12 starts before opting out of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. Finished the season with with the fifth-most tackles on the team at 45, including 23 solo. Led the team with 11 sacks for the second-straight season, and recorded 14 tackles for loss. Led the team with six quarterback hurries, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
  • OHIO STATE (9/3): Four tackles, two solo, two assists
  • MARSHALL (9/10): Five tackles, three solo, two assists. Recorded a sack for a loss of six yards to stop the opening Marshall possession of the second half. 16.5 career sacks, 11th all-time
  • CALIFORNIA (9/17): Totaled 1.5 sacks, bringing his career total to 18. 18 career sacks matches Bryant Young (1990-93) for ninth all-time at Notre Dame
  • NORTH CAROLINA (9/24): Recorded five total tackles in the win over the Tar Heels. Now sits alone in ninth all-time in career sacks at Notre Dame (18.5).
  • BYU (10/8): Recorded three tackles, one solo two assists. Added a quarterback hurry in the win.
  • STANFORD (10/15): Had a pair of unassisted tackles and a quarterback hurry.
  • UNLV (10/22): Blocked two punts, the first time in program history a player has blocked two punts in a game. Its the third and fourth blocked kicks of his career. Added a career-high three sacks, moving his career total to 21.5 and tied for third all-time in career sacks at Notre Dame. Matched his season-high with five tackles and added a quarterback hurry.
  • SYRACUSE (10/29): Added four total tackles, including 1.5 sacks and 2.5 tackles for a loss of 11 total yards. Finished with a quarterback hurry.
  • CLEMSON (11/5): Now within a half sack of tying the Notre Dame career record for sacks after dropping the Clemson quarterback for a loss of seven on the final play of the first half.
  • NAVY (11/12): Finished with three assisted tackles in the win over Navy.
  • BOSTON COLLEGE (11/19): Ended the first half with a sack of the BC quarterback, setting a new career sack record (25), breaking the record set by Justin Tuck (24.0) (2002-04). Also recovered a fumble in the victory.
  • USC (11/26): Finished with 1.5 sacks to move into third-most in a single season (11). Extended the Notre Dame career sack record to 26.5. Finished with five total tackles, 2.5 for loss, and forced a fumble.

JUNIOR SEASON (2021)

  • Played and started in all 13 games for the Irish this season; led the team in sacks with the third-most in a Notre Dame single season (11.0); recorded a sack in nine of 13 contests, including two multi-sack performances, and finished T-11th with 0.85 sacks per game; Tallied six of team’s 13 forced fumbles on the season and collected two fumble recoveries; Ended with 12.5 TFLs to lead the defense; Finished fourth on the team in tackles (52); Named to Phil Steele All-American Third Team and 2021 Phil Steele All-Independent First Team
  • FLORIDA STATE (9/5): Made his first career start in the season-opening win at Florida State and led the Irish with a pair of sacks as part of a season-high eight total tackle performance
  • TOLEDO (9/11): Registered three tackles (two solo), and had 1.0 sack in the win over the Rockets
  • PURDUE (9/18): Completed four tackles (two solo), created a pass defended, and had 1.0 sack in the win over Purdue for a loss of 13 yards
  • WISCONSIN (9/25): Came up with his first career fumble recovery in the win paired with three tackles (all solo)
  • CINCINNATI (10/2): Forced the first fumble of his career against the Bearcats to go with three total tackles (two solo);  tallied another sack to bring his season total to 5.0, which leads the team; Recorded a sack in four of first five games
  • VIRGINIA TECH (10/9): Tallied a sack in the win over the Hokies to bring season total to 6.0 (team lead); Finished with six tackles (four solo) and 1.5 TFLs
  • SOUTHERN CAL (10/23): Set a career-high with two forced fumbles (one recovered by the Irish) and tied a career-high with 2.0 sacks (-26 yards) as part of five total tackles (four solo)
  • NORTH CAROLINA (10/30): Led the Irish with a team-high seven tackles (six solo) and added a sack in the home win over the Tar Heels, extending a run of one sack or more in seven of the eight games this season
  • GEORGIA TECH (11/20): Tied a career-high with two forced fumbles (one recovered, both this season); Tallied his 10th sack of the season to move into fourth all-time for most sacks in a single season; Played a part of both Irish defensive touchdowns as the sack led to the fumble return from Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa and a QB hurry forced the interception return by Jack Kiser; finished with three solo tackles
  • OKLAHOMA STATE – Fiesta Bowl (1/1): Earned five solo tackles and his sixth forced fumble of the season in the fourth quarter; collected his 11th sack on the year to move into third all-time for single-season sacks at Notre Dame

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020)

  • Played in all 12 games for the Irish this season, collecting 20 tackles (12 solo, 5.0 TFL) and 4.5 sacks for the second highest total on the Irish defense; Tallied five QB hurries and a pass breakup
  • DUKE (9/12): Posted two tackles, one sack (-10 yards) and 1.5 TFL (-11 yards) in a breakout performance to open the season against the Blue Devils; Responsible for two QBH and one pass breakup.
  • SOUTH FLORIDA (9/19): Registered two tackles (both solo), 1.0 sack (loss of nine yards)  and two QB hurries in the 52-0 win
  • FLORIDA STATE (10/10): Recorded one tackle in the win vs. Florida State.
  • PITT (10/24): Posted two tackles and 0.5 sacks (-3 yards) in the 45-3 win; Blocked his second career punt with 0:11 remaining in the first half, returning it for a touchdown for his first career touchdown and Notre Dame’s second score off a blocked punt this season (USF)
  • GEORGIA TECH (10/31): Marked 1.0 sack (-8 yards) and a tackle in the 31-13 win
  • CLEMSON (11/7): Totaled four tackles (three solo) in the 47-40 2OT win over the then-No. 1 Tigers
  • NORTH CAROLINA (11/27): Posted four tackles (one solo) and 1.0 sack in the 31-17 win
  • SYRACUSE (12/5): Earned one tackle in the 41-25 regular season finale win over the Orange
  • CLEMSON – ACC Championship (12/19): Tallied three tackles and a QBH in the ACC Championship game.
  • Saw action in the CFP Semifinal at the Rose Bowl Game against Alabama (1/1)

FRESHMAN SEASON (2019)

  • Played in four games as a rookie — New Mexico, Bowling Green, Duke and Stanford; Made five total tackles on the year, with a QB hurry and a blocked punt
  • NEW MEXICO (9/14): Had a pair of tackles in collegiate debut against New Mexico
  • BOWLING GREEN (10/5): In on a tackle against the Falcons
  • STANFORD (11/30): Blocked a punt in the second quarter of the regular-season finale against Stanford, adding a pair of tackles including his first career solo tackle
