• NAVY (8/26): Notre Dame’s offense ran for 191 yards in the season opener in Dublin, Ireland … Four players ran for 25 or more yards as the team averaged 6.0 yards per carry … 25 passing attempts without allowing a sack
• TENNESSEE STATE (9/2): Opened up lanes for 221 rushing yards in the victory … Irish scored three touchdowns on the ground by three different players … Averaged 6.7 yards per carry during the contest … Protected for 336 passing yards on 30 attempts … Four scores through the air
• NC STATE (9/9): Helped the Irish rush for 170 yards, including a 134 yard performance from Audric Estimé … Season-best 80 yard rushing touchdown to open play after a rain delay… Protected the Notre Dame passing attack total 286 passing yards …

AS A SOPHOMORE (2022)

• Played in 12 of Notre Dame’s 13 games in 2022. Competed as part of the field goal unit that did not have a kick blocked during the season, finishing 14-for-19 on field goals and a perfect 49-for-49 on PATs.

AS A FRESHMAN (2021)

• Appeared in two games for the Irish during rookie season
• CINCINNATI (10/2): Made his first appearance with the Irish in the matchup against Cincinnati.
• GEORGIA TECH (11/20): Made second game appearance in 55-0 win in Notre Dame’s home finale

• Clarkson won the Division 1 Michigan State Championship his freshman year and was the state runner-up during his sophomore season

• Was drafted in the third round of the 1990 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions and played nine years in the NFL between the Lions and Jets

• Sister, Gabriella, attended West Point and became a captain in the Army
• Sister, Dominique, is a fashion model in New York City
• Sister, Isabella, plays tennis at Cleveland State
